Spark and Flame Catering (The Flame Cafe N Spark Restaurant)

The service was good, the men who came and setup up was on time and nice. The overall portion of the food was good and sufficient with extras leftover. However some dishes was not as nice as it was supposed to be. Beef Rendang taste was ok but meat was very tough not soft. Pineapple fried rice doesn’t taste like normal standard, just like normal fried rice taste. Sea coconut was very hard.

Drink was not enough.Had to buy own drinks as exrra cordial was not provided.Cups too was not enough for the guests.Can do better.

All dishes all cut down in quality and quantity even though I ordered for 30 pax! Very disappointing spread in few pieces of chicken, veg (no abalone mushroom at all), desserts half longan and drinks not meant for 30pax!

Food was alright. Crabmeat rice didn’t taste any crabmeat. Chicken pieces a bit little for 10 people

1. The whole buffet setup came with a miserably cheap looking small plastic vase with fake flowers that the delivery man totally forgot about it and left standing alone on my shelf behind the buffet set-up!!
2. Lychee cordial was changed to pink guava without any prior notice.
3. Collection time was 3.30pm but failed to turn up. Had to call their office. By the time the delivery man came to collect, it was almost 5.15pm. My other caterer for dinner was already here and had to help him with the clearance.

Golden silk butter prawn is yummy all loved it, steamed sea bass sauce is nice but bones in the fish. Mango pudding is nice. Other dishes taste so so, price too steep. What came as a surprise is the individual bowls of yusheng which seemed strange during the lo-hei. But we made do and had fun!

Food was dry and of small portions, and not of good value - probably due to CNY markup.

Food was delivered in free warmer bags, so that was a good touch.

Well below my expectation. The food arrived one full hour before my stated event timing, hence the food turned cold by the time my guests arrived. Although my menu include dessert, no dessert bowl was supplied. The curry chicken is too dry with little gravy. Sweet & sour fish is salty and not enough sauce provided. The xiaobai chye dish is very skimpy.

Food delivers an hour late. No one bothers to inform me. And I have to call back in to check. Food appearance: not bad. Food taste: very bad.

Food was ok but the yusheng was missed out during the initial delivery and it was subsequently delivered a few hours later. Wanted to do the Yusheng dish first with the guest but had to do it after the meal instead.
