Stamford Catering

The diy laksa was nice, but the caterer failed to provide me w bigger bowls for it. Thus my guests all unable to enjoy it fully

The food portion like garlic prawns is just too small (30 prawns for 30 pax!), and the food taste not up to our expectations which resulted in much leftover food. Will not consider ordering from this merchant again.

Ordered 60pax international buffet. Portion for dessert (mango pamelo soup) is filled with lots of ice but hardly see many n pamelo sago. ,wasabi prawn and potatoe salad is so little like for 30pax. It is for company event and we have to control food portion as buffet portion is so little ! Setting up is nice n delivery on time. Food overall taste 4/5.

Service was poor. Reached about 30 mins later than the agreed arrival time for setup, and more than one hour late for the agreed collection time. Ended up the food was not ready when guests arrived, and post event we could not lock up and return the function room until more than an hour later.

When feedback to the helpline, the person was not helpful and unapologetic at all.

Food was very bad.
- Signature Curry Chicken with Potato: Potato were practically non-existent in the curry chicken. Curry itself is also very diluted.
- Fish Fillet with Assam Paste: Fish fillet is mostly eating flour and need strong teeth to eat.
- Crab Stick "Gui Hua" Egg: This is good. Must order!
- Nonya Chap Chye: Tasteless. My hub commented mixed rice stall chap chye is nicer.
- Signature Wok Fried Egg Rice with Silver Fish: Again tasteless. No wok hey.
- Vegetarian Spring Roll with Sweet Sauce: This is good. Must order!
- Chilled Grass Jelly with Fruit Cocktail: Grass jelly portion too little and also, too sweet because of fruit cocktail.

It was disappointing that no cutlery like plates, bowls , spoons and forks were supplied .
We had to go out to buy them.
To make matters worse, no serving spoons or tongs were supplied too which the photo showed - we were using ours.

I chose Stamford thinking that it will be better since it is rather reputable. But this time it is a bad experience among the many caterers which I had used the past years.

Disappointing. Portions were inadequate. Fish, cabbage rolls, and so-called lobster rolls were EXACTLY 30 pieces. Noodles and vegetable enough only for a very small portion per pax. Nobody could get second helping. Anyway the food generally tasted mediocre and nobody wanted second helping.
The fish was deep fried instead of pan seared.
The setup really looked pathetic: cramped layout, crumpled skirting, cheapo look with plastic sheet over table top, old mis-shapen food warmers (2 of them with disposable aluminium tray inserts), hideous looking carton box for holding the 财神爷was 'proudly' displayed next to buffet table. Only the disposable crockery looked decent.
Will not order from Stamford Catering again.

Item was received wrong ,order set B but come with set C ...... call up to let the stamford catering customer service know, but they say they receive order from foodline so they just follow instruction and is like not their fault , the girl who answer my phone call say will check with the delivery, she did the checking but she say is foodline send the order to them they just pack with the order and delivery the item , so the customer service person say will call me after check with the foodline person until now there is no return call from anyone . so disppointed as i know Stamford Catering is nice food , my next order also order from Stamford Catering which will be sending on the 3 Feb hopefully there is no problem for my next order .

The food was good with decent portion to the number of pax. However, it was communicated to collect at 5pm when placing order, but in actual came to pick up at 6pm, by the time finishing collection at around 6.20pm. Ended up I have to pay extra hours of venue rental cost due to their delay. If you have time limit of the venue, please avoid or ensure this is very very clearly communicated

Food set up was slow and late , arranged for 6pm and catering full set up only at 7pm. Drinking is not working well. Cannot have drink coming out. And later spill all over the floor .
