Stamford Catering

This time, the food tasted bland especially the Singapore Style Fried Bee Hoon and Mini Carrot Cake with Sweet Sauce. Golden md wings were soggy. There were many leftover food on that event day. Quite disappointed.

Food was ok, portions were generous. Delivery was on time, and heating packs help to keep the food warm. However, a fly was found in the dessert. First time happening after ordering from Stamford a few times. This was made known to the caterer, who made a refund of the dessert and waived delivery fees.

The food is not as tasty as before. The food standard has dropped tremendously. A bit disappointed as Stamford Catering should not be of such lower standard. Chendol is not nice at all and the whole container was left 3/4 full. Fried rice was too dry and tasteless. Curry chicken does not have the coconut fragrance. Yam paste never see much ginko nuts.

The service was great. On the next available working date after I have placed the order, I received both email and sms to confirm my order.

Additionally, on the actual day delivery, the delivery man was early, which was great.

Overall, the food was great, especially the curry chicken and assam fish and my guests are happy with the catering.

I would recommend Stamford to my friends.

Due to CNY period, delivery setup is poor. Assuming caterer 've outsource to 3rd party transporter. Seafood Cake with Mango Mayo has forgotten to bring the warmer setup. So have to squeeze together with Salt & Pepper Prawns to share the warmer as seen in photo. Guest also comments vege turns sour when serving. Collection time almost 10 pm and 've to expedite them. And food description printed cards in one plastic folder was place at one corner when we realize it after guests left. Overall, delivery set up is poor and caterer must ensure fresh food quality.

Paid over $1k for 30pax but most of the foods are not up to standard. Cauliflower and broccoli are hard, prawns shells are like those frozen prawn that their shella are hard to peel and not so fresh. Desserts are small potion, ordered the YuShen but only given like 10 thin slice of Abalone for 30 pax.
Would not recommend to order from Stanford though it sound "high class".
To add on the table cloth for the buffet got a 3can hole on top and the deliver man has to use the flower stand to cover it. The corner of aluminium cover for the foods are very dirty and my mum has to use tissue to clean them.
Only the fish are generous and thick.
Additionally, after the payment is made and email has been confirmed. There are totally no news or reminders of any sort from cáterer till the day before from foodline email me to take photo and video for the foods I ordered to win $400 cash. The cáterer At least should send us a messages few days in advance stating that they have not forgotten about the order. And not letting us guessing it, if you replied and said it is peak festive season then you are finding excuses.

Food was ok but could be more flavorful. The desert spilled and we had to salvage and clean up. But the quantity was generous and we really enjoyed how easy they make it for us to enjoy lo hei.

The buffet set-up was good with CNY festive mood but the followings were very disappointing :
1. The buttered broccoli dish had already turned bad/sour even before we start the buffet.
2. The baked chicken wings are hard and tasteless.
3. Insufficient assam sauce for the snapper fillet.

Items of food was not fully delivered on both days for my both orders. On first day cny lunch which above photos shown… I am also missing the fish skin for the loh hey. Nevertheless they refunded the dish cost and the delivery cost back. However; my family did not have enough for that meal. They were not happy especially when the eve

They were not happy especially when the next meal for first day cny lunch also had missing whole chicken which I specially top up and add on. So in the end really not enough to eat.
