The noodle is hard and gravy is too little. Did not enjoy my meal and it’s disappointing. The serving size is small too.

Easy to order, and delivery was on time. Requested for different ingredients in each bowl, they did write down but i think the covers were capped wrongly so we got confused which bowl were which. However food was delicious as usual!

The Original Katong Laksa 1950Started in the 1940s in Marine Parade, a legendary Peranakan Laksa stall served gravy so captivating that it attracted people from all over Singapore.

Like most stalls in the early days, it did not have a name. But everyone remembered our founder, Mr Ng Juat Swee, who sprouted a few hairs from a mole below his chin, as Uncle Janggul. Together with his younger brother, Mr Ng Chwee Seng, they carried laksa in metal buckets balanced on a pole over their shoulders. To make it easier to eat laksa on the streets, the noodles were cut short and eaten with a spoon. This became a trademark of Katong Laksa and our business is now known as Janggut Laksa.
