This catering was meant for my grandma's birthday and it was ruined as we waited 2 hours waiting for the food. The food supposed to arrive at 7 pm and I called the in-charge and she ... More directed saying the driver will call back to advise the ETA. Finally, at 8:30 pm, the workers arrived just to set up the table and lay the tray etc, and went down to the car park to wait for their other colleague who was on the way with the food. He arrives with the food around 9pm and it was 2 hours late already. Caterer wanted to use a black cloth as a base for the table, it is CNY period.. & their trays were very dirty too. We decided to ask for cancellation & WORD in-charge gladly accept it and transfer it within that night. We have not tasted the food hence, we are unable to comment on it. However, I hope WORD can improve more on their communication between customers and their workers, improve their food arrival timing and their full table set up decorations too. Do note that caterer does not give you a call for confirmation of your order and will only email you to transfer the amount to their bank account, all via emails/sms only. But will we order again from WORD? No, as we were really disappointed. My review is just my two cent worth and hopes you will choose your caterer carefully. Late Delivery by 1.5hours, menus switched and no follow up. Delivery was 1.5 hours late and when it arrives, the mee siam has gone bad. WORD did offer to send a fresh batch ... More but we declined since guests were hungry after the 1.5hr wait. Was given a refund of $50. Two days after the event, when I was reviewing photos and chasing for the mee siam refund, I realised that two dishes were replaced without prior informing me - Chicken Mousse with Black Olive Canapé and mini rice kuehs were replaced with watermelon salad, chicken bits in black pepper sauce and fried fish balls. Informed WORD of this but her reply was that I should have informed her on the spot (my mistake really, that i couldn't hold back my hungry guests for a further 10mins after the 1.5hr delay to check on the delivered food when is clearly so common for caterers to send things) To make matter worse, after the initial denial that items were replaced, I was told that the items replaced are of a higher value and that Salad is an intercontinental dish (whatever this means). It has been four days since she was supposed to return to me after checking with the kitchen but there was no news since.
