Not recommended if you have adult appetite!!! Reviewed on 1st Jan 2017 Verified Purchase Food quality is good but the quantity seems wrong. I had been ordering buffets from other caterers but YLS provided a portion for kids. I had ordered for 45 adults but we ran out of Mee hoon and dessert after 20+. In the end, we got to cook rice. We ... More also have to run to the nearest shop to buy plates, fork, spoon, cups and syrup as drinks ran out. Quite embarrassing for a host. I never faced this before as I used to have so much left over. Maybe it is because they are giving "free" course and compensate from other dishes. First time catering and enjoyed the food Reviewed on 7th Jan 2017 Verified Purchase The food was overall good and my guest enjoyed it going for 2 rounds. Good value for the price. The portions were also generous. All dishes were good only felt the cereal prawns weren't fresh and not enough cereal. Will definitely order ... More again! Food is so-so, over-hype rating for YLS to be honest. Reviewed on 19th Dec 2016 Verified Purchase Food portion is rather small, overall food is so-so for YLS, we mostly like the smoke duck only. 10 Courses + 1 Free Course + 1 Drink Buffet Menu $10.80/pax First time ordering from merchant: Yes Will recommend this merchant: Not too sure

Honest feedback allows improvement, look forward to it :) Reviewed on 19th Dec 2016 Verified Purchase The delivery was delayed and buffet had to commerce at slightly later time. The service was great. The fried rice was slightly dry. Sliced fish with cereal, can barely taste the cereal. Broccoli with mushroom was tasty. However, it turns sour after ... More hours. Overall, the quantity of the food was generous. Quality was average, can be better Show less 7 Courses + 1 Drink Buffet Menu $7.80/pax Favourite dish: Curry chicken First time ordering from merchant: Yes Will recommend this merchant: Not too sure

Do not order during YLS' peak period Reviewed on 19th Dec 2016 Verified Purchase The broccoli was sour. Goodness knows why. The food was so not nice, that even though I had 45 guests and I ordered for 30pax only, I had more than half the food left over. My guests didn't go for seconds. Quite embarrassed. Don't think I will order ... More from YLS again when they have too many orders on the same day. The quality is really below par. No tupperwares given to pack the excess food as well.
