An average experience for quite a high price point

The food was kind of average. Steamed fish was rather hard and dry, probably overcooked. Nonya chap chye was also bland and tasteless. Fried rice was not bad, slightly salty but acceptable, portion was very generous. Teriyaki was pretty tasty too. Bangers and mash was alright - the mashed potato is not bad but the sausages tasted like canned sausages. The peach aiyu jelly dessert was special but could be less sweet. Prawn was the best dish in my opinion. Customer service was pretty good, except that when I wanted to make an enquiry on the actual day I did not receive any response even on the days that followed.

Recommend the tiger prawns in garlic herb butter and eclairs

Delivery came about an hour earlier than my event, but food is still lukewarm when served more than an hour later. Thumbs up for that. The Baked Tiger Prawn with Garlic Herbs Butter and Chocolate Eclairs were a hit, wished they gave more chocolate eclairs because not everyone gets one piece. Understand that it was eclairs and cream puffs but I would rather the caterer replace all the cream puffs with eclairs so everyone can get at least one piece of eclair.

The rest of the food were of average standard only, nothing to shout about. Signature Teriyaki Chicken was dry and tough. The pineapple fried rice does not taste anywhere near how it should taste like. It's more like the generic fried rice with a few chunks of pineapple thrown in as an afterthought.

Overall food was good, could have better communication

Overall the food was good, and I generally enjoyed the display and punctuality of the set up. One thing that disappointed however was that the food collection was supposed to be at 8pm, but caterer only came at 920pm.

Also tried to call and was not able to get a prompt response, so hope this can be improved.

Thank you Yea! Mama Catering for the delicious food and simple set up. Ordered food for 35 pax and 2 additional Vegeterian Bento sets. Portion was sufficient and good for the size indicated, with the bee hoon in super large portion. Red eggs were included but we requested to change them to another plate of AKK of a different flavour. Most attendees agreed that the food was good in general (for catering food std), with more praises on the assam fish and curry chicken. Love the customer service lady who promptly answered my questions on Whatsapp and agreeable wtih all my requests. Recommend to anyone who wants to try their service and food!

I love the service! Prompt response from when I placed the order. Smooth customer service, very professional. The delivery was on-time, food arrived hot and really fresh from kitchen! The delivery guys are swift when delivering, awesome service! Complete cutleries, crockeries, and serviettes were provided. But most importantly, food is delicious! The portion is also very generous, I didn't expect. I love the tenderness of chicken with the flavourful teriyaki sauce. Also love the balance of sweetness and sourness for the fish. Very aromatic baked tiger prawn. Not a fan of veg but the nonya is superb! The kids love bangers and mash the most, the adults too. Rice is perfect. Sufficient amount of pineapple was added to blend the taste and it's the best fried rice I have ever tasted. I made the right decision to choose Ai Yu Jelly for the dessert. Portion too small!!!

I want to express my disappointment with the mini buffet portion for 20paxs that I experienced for company catering on 20April . On this particular occasion, I was extremely dissatisfied with the portion sizes offered in the buffet.

The serving sizes for 20paxs were significantly smaller than usual. As a result, I had to go out to other restaurants several times to get enough food to satisfy my clients & workers. Furthermore, the limited portion size did not justify the high cost of the buffet.

I hope you understand my frustration with the buffet portion size, as I believe it does not meet the usual high standards of your restaurant. As a customer, I expect better service and quality, and I hope that you will take the necessary steps to address this issue

Have add-on nibbles on top buffet set eg Satay, otak.

Generally food was okay. Food was delivered on time (stipulated 530pm whilst I requested for 6-630pm, came at 610pm); nicely packed in plastic containers+carton boxes in cooler bags (thumbs up).
