Yeh Lai Siang Catering Service

The food is good. Portion is more than enough for 10 pax,
but one thing which is disappointing is that there is a strand of hair in one of the dish. Quite disappointed. Cutleries n utensils are not provided also. But overall my guest likes the food alot.

We ordered the Party Set Classic for 10 pax and added a portion of Orh Nee (5 pax). The food portion was generous, easily feeding 13 adults and 2 kids, with leftovers packed for a second round.

Highlights included the Yeh’s homemade bun with stewed meat, which was a hit—especially with the kids, who enjoyed the buns plain. The curry chicken, while flavorful, was very spicy, so those with lower spice tolerance might want to consider this.

We also noted that the Signature Hong Siew tofu and Longevity bailing mushroom with vegetables were a bit similar in flavor profile, so perhaps selecting only one of these would make for a more varied meal. The teriyaki glazed squid was fresh and tender, a definite crowd-pleaser.

The food arrived hot, and we didn’t even need the warmers we had prepared. Overall, the experience was positive, though it would be nice to see even more variety in the menu selections. Thank you, Yeh Lai Siang, for making our gathering enjoyable!

As mentioned by other reviewers, the food portion is very generous. This whole menu strikes out as one that offers a nostalgic taste. The Sweet and Sour pork chunks really is quite old school Zi char vibes. Their curry was also quite tasty and thick. Overall, our very fussy dad found this caterer to his liking for taste, portion and quality. The food was not overly tasty or too sweet. We would skip the aka carte order of Nonya cakes though as it’s nothing different from the ones you get from the market.

The duck was very nice, my guest enjoy it, the fish is abit too much coating and it become very soggy.

Overall it was quite nice.

We ordered a buffet for 30 people from Yeh Lai Siang, and we were very pleased with the experience. The food portions were more than enough, and we still had a lot left after the birthday celebration. The food tasted pretty good too. Additionally, they set up the buffet station very nicely. We truly appreciate their effort. Will definitely order again!

Overall the food looks good but is on the bland side, we prefer the food to be slightly more salty. The dessert is also not sweet. The noodles is also soggy. Serving portion is more than enough for 15 pax though.

We were extremely pleased with the catering service provided. The food quality was excellent, fresh, and flavorful, with great attention to presentation. The staff was professional, punctual, and attentive, ensuring a seamless experience. Our guests were impressed, and the event ran smoothly.

Food delivered 1 hour before event in big warmer bag. I ordered 10 pax for guests of 14 pax, still have excess. The curry, not as good as other catering that I ordered, slightly disappointed

Food and service is good. There is a wide variety of food items to choose from and the food is tasty.the caterer also acceded to my request for less salty and less sweet food items.

Overall received good comments for the taste and portion more than 10 pax. Only comment: curry potato can be softer
