Food was decent but the kong ba and the pao is bit too dry. I was informed by my friend that YLS has the option for half rice and half noodle. It would have been better that we were being offered this as there will less wastage.

Good Food, Good Set Up

Staff service and set up was professional and punctual. Food presentation and buffet set up looks good. Guests commented on how good the food were, saying out of all the buffet we ordered, these were the best they ever had. Curry Chicken was thick and creamy, spicy but good. Ko Rou Bao was more unusual in buffets but a delight and a popular dish among young kids as they like to eat just the empty plain bao. Felt the Emperor Lobster ball was normal and easily forgettable, not really worth the money. Overall, is great despite that. Many of my guests also love the yam paste but my dad noted that the coconut is abit too much, can lessen as its overly sweet for older folks like him.

I have trusted Yeh Lai Xiang since for many years.

I always order from Yeh Lai Xiang over the years because I loved the stewed pork with home made bun and Sweet yam with golden pumpkin . This time round, it did disappoint me in the way it came with - hard bun and pork with kind of slight odour. Hope caterer please look into, and give back quality like before. Otherwise, everything is good for me. The serving size is very generous. delivery time is punctual and staff very polite and cheerful. I received many compliments on the food from my invited guests. The birthday complimentary kueh is so delicious that it was very quickly snapped up.
