Yeh Lai Siang Catering Service

Curry chicken is good. Most of my guests asked me about it and commented it is delicious! The other dishes that are nice is dry mee siam and the dessert (free chocolate éclair). Overall food was not too salty. The only part which i rated 3 stars was that they forgotten my vegetarian bento set for my Muslim guests. Ordered 3 but only 1 was delivered. Managed to get a refund from them.

The setup was agreed at 4pm on the date of event but it came early at 10am without notification. Person in charge was unaware of this, the communication needs to be improved.
Food was late for 30mins. Guests had to wait for the setup to be completed at the time of event. Person in charge has to do better in communication to keep us posted.
Food taste good and we are satisfied with it.

Delivery was on time. Food was delicious and portion was generous.
I will order again if I have event in future

The food was good and delicious. Generally my guest like all the dishes. The service was prompt too.

All the guests say the food is really nice. wish the squid was more though. all the tasty dishes ran out first. the carbo dishes were more than enough. curry was spicy, prawn rolls yummy, signature kong ba bao nice too... very good value and great service by the caterer. easy fuss free ordering from foodline as well.

The food delivered on time, the food was nice, this is my 1st order and definitely will not be my last.

Ordered from YLS after reading all the good reviews about it. Had an eye for the special dishes and went for the kong ba bao, which was a hit with my guests. They also commented how good the curry chicken was!

What i liked was also the punctuality. My event starts at 12pm and food came promptly at 11am to set up.

Food and portion is good. Generous and delicious. But the service could be much much improved. First the setup guy turn up on time but with a black face, not sure why. Only 1 person so took quite some time and then once finish, disappeared without a word. Extra table skirting wasn't done at all and I have to call the company to rectify. After finish, initially communicated to collect back at 5pm so I clear my guest at 5pm but they only came at 8.30pm. All these should be improved to get customer to do return order. But food part is really great.

The caterer was punctual in setting up the buffet line and clearing it at the end of the event. The food was tasty and sufficient. The caterer also provided valuable advice on the orders, i.e. advised against ordering 2 carbo items.

Food was good, do give curry chicken and sambal squids try! Delivery was on time and set up was done really well!
Food line support was great, given the short timeframe to get at caterer.

however serving was relatively lesser for 40pax. On top of that, drinks are not provided for funeral but price is paid the same. Will appreciate if food can be given more as drinks are not provided.
