Food very lousy.

Food is very lousy

1.The portion of the food served can be more generous.

2. The drink supplied in two plastic containers were only half full and we had to top up by buying more bottles of drink on our own.

3. Overall, the whole experience was satisfactory and can indeed be better.

We ordered from this caterer as my mother had tasted their food at an event a few years back. Disappointed with their food this time. The Sweet & Sour Pork Chunks were more like pork slices drenched in ketchup. The Black Pepper Fillet was extremely salty and could not be eaten. The Hainanese Mixed Vegetable look soggy and plain, much like the fried cabbages that you see accompany economic bee hoon. Only the beancurd cubes with mini prawns was any good. The portions were not large, but thankfully because the food was not that good the guests didn't take double helpings.

We could have gotten something much better elsewhere.

We ordered Prawns Fried w/Cashew Nuts but came with the different dishes.

Yam Paste w/coconut & Lemon Butter Sliced Fish are delicious.

Not to my expectation.

Arrange them to come at 5.30pm but they appear at 4.45pm. When guest arrive around 5.45pm, the food was cold even with warmer below..

Order 35pax but the food look like below 30pax as compare to other buffet cater.. The pineapple fried rice potion was alot but doesn't taste nice.

Order cuttlefish but we hardly search for cuttlefish cos lots of Orion on it..

Yang Chow Fried Rice 杨州炒饭 was not soft.
Fried Butter Prawns 炸牛油虾 was not fresh.
Sliced Fish w/Spring Onion & Ginger 姜葱鱼片 did not turn out as expected. We did not expect the fish to be fried, instead of steamed or boiled.
Curry Chicken 咖哩鸡肉 was not fragrant enough.
Braised Beancurd 红烧豆腐 was not fragrant enough. It seemed to be just cooked, but not braised.
Longevity Bailing Mushroom with Vegetable 百龄菇菜花 was a bit raw.
Yam Paste w/Coconut Milk 芋泥椰浆 was sour. The caterer has refused to separate the coconut milk, despite we requested for it.
Orange Cordial was too sweet.

-Bad service
-Event was from 1-4pm. Initial stated delivery time is 12.30pm and collection time is 4.30pm
- actual day, delivery man called to deliver at 11.30am (1 hour earlier)
-Late in collection for 2 hours- very bad because we need to hand over the condo function room
Overall food quality : average
Food: curry chicken - is more like ordering the curry without chicken (after 10 people ate and there's no more)
I've ordered for 40 people share. Very disappointing.
