"Disappointing and pathetic"

Disappointing. Portions were inadequate. Fish, cabbage rolls, and so-called lobster rolls were EXACTLY 30 pieces. Noodles and vegetable enough only for a very small portion per pax. Nobody could get second helping. Anyway the food generally tasted ... More mediocre and nobody wanted second helping.
The fish was deep fried instead of pan seared.
The setup really looked pathetic: cramped layout, crumpled skirting, cheapo look with plastic sheet over table top, old mis-shapen food warmers (2 of them with disposable aluminium tray inserts), hideous looking carton box for holding the 财神爷was 'proudly' displayed next to buffet table. Only the disposable crockery looked decent.
Will not order from Stamford Catering again.
