Nice cake, but difficult to cut

The cake looks nice, however the cake itself is always quite frozen. Previously when I bought a cake from this supplier, after around 30 mins, it is still kind of frozen and hard to cut. This time, after putting in the fridge (not freezer) for a few ... More hours and taking it out after, it is still quite difficult to cut.
A comment from my dad about the cake was that the sponge cake itself looked quite rough like bread, not smooth with smaller air bubbles like how a cake should be.
There were lots of cut fruits inside the cake, which was quite nice.
