The food in general is pretty good. I received compliments for the broccoli because surprisingly, it isn't easy to get broccoli cooked just right in catered buffets. Also the prawn paste chicken, I loved the crispy bits and the chicken itself was ... Morealso quite flavourful.
Two things I noted though:
- We were given hot barley instead of cold barley. Cold barley is the norm for catered buffets, so my guests and myself were slightly caught by surprise. (We have consumed quite a lot of catered buffets, so this sure is a first haha. Usually the only hot beverages are coffee/tea.) But I suppose we can't take this for granted, and to specify clearly in future.
- The potato salad was placed on the warmer. So by the time we ate we had warm potato salad. That sure is strange. Suggest to place salads in separate containers/bowls.
