The food was extremely disappointing. Most of the dishes arrived hard, dried, and cold, packed in a plain cardboard box instead of a thermal bag. The vegetables were undercooked, bland, and had no sauce—I had to re-cook them myself. The pork belly ... More looked like leftovers, while the rest of the items were mostly deep-fried. Two boxes of sauces were provided, but there was no indication of which sauce paired with which dish.

The yam paste was watery and contained only four gingko nuts, far below expectations. The golden prawns were overly salty and oily, and the tiger prawn rolls had lost their crispiness, turning rubbery. Overall, the meal was unappetizing and poorly prepared.

This was meant to be a special reunion dinner to ease my mum’s workload and bring her joy, but instead, it turned into a major disappointment. We did not enjoy the food at all, and it felt like a disaster for such an important occasion.

The delivery came one hour earlier so the food was cold when guests arrived. The food seemed to be kept in the plastic container for quite some time so the colour turned dull and unappealing. The mix vegetables even turned yellowish. In short, it ... More looked like overnight leftover food.

1. The "Fortune 8 Treasures Golden Chicken" was tasteless.
2. The "Seyu Traditional Charcoal Roasted Duck" didn't look roasted but soaked in a layer of salty gravy.
3. The sotong in "Cold Dish Platter" was over fried so they were hard and bitter.
4. The "Thai Style Vermicelli Braised Prawn" was fresh but the vermicelli was soggy.
5. The "Fried Fish Fillet" was salty and presentation was the worst among other dishes.
6. The "Sweet Soup" was overly sweet.
7. The only dish was well received was the "Nonya Kueh".

Overall, it's a disappointment. The food plays an important part in CNY reunion dinner so this year we didn't enjoy that much.
