I order for 70 pax, did not have a chance to taste all the dishes as was busy entertaining guests but i presume that the golden salted egg prawn was good as it was gone within a short period of time. The desert i ordered was bo bo cha cha but it was ... More changed to cheng teng without informing me. Setup was so so and the food did not have a dish displaying tag being display so we had a hard time figuring out which is which. To be frank, this was the 2nd catering of the day as i have a afternoon catering so i can have a more direct comparison between both within the same day. Overall is still acceptable but maybe the service could be better.

I ordered quite last minute and makan mate was able to take in my order. I was very grateful. My guests compliment the food was very nice, a big relieve for me as this is my first time ordering from makan mate and i am uncertain of the food quality. ... More The decoration/setup was good and the delivery man was very friendly. I wasnt around when they came. I handed over the cheque to my wife to pass it to them but my wife gave them the wrong cheque as there was 2 catering. They informed to my wife that the amount was incorrect and they waited for me to returned back. I saw them on my way back and offered to rewrite and bring the cheque down for them as i saw them having their lunch at void deck. But the delivery guy volunteered to follow me up back home even thou he was having his lunch halfway. A very good service and full of smiles. I will definitely order again from Makan Mate
