Food is tasty and portion is satisfactory. They are also probably the cheapest and most value for money tingkat around. My only dislike is that their variety is quite limited so it feels like we are almost eating the same food every other day. My ... Out of the many caterers I've tried, I must say this caterer serves the most generous portions of food. However, the taste of their food doesn't go well with me, sometimes a little too weird for my liking. Their soup is generally ok, and very ... More generous with ingredients.

I tried their 10 day trial, with only one criteria ; that is no fish. But for the first couple days, they gave me exactly what I opted out; fish with bones as one of the 3 dishes, and then another spicy dish which means out of the 3 dishes, 2 are not suitable for my 3 young kids. Called up customer service, she was nice and polite and gave me an additional fried dish as compensation for the blunder so I appreciate that.

No complaints about the taste of the food. But. The quantity of food definitely didn't justify the amount we paid for. We ordered for a party of 10 adults + 4 kids. 9 dishes in total; all medium size except for the vegetables and sweet and sour fish ... More in large. However, we were appalled when we opened the plastic containers and saw that all containers (of the same size) weren't even half filled, not even for the dishes that we ordered in large! There was simply not enough food to go round. We even had to run down to the tze char stall near my aunt's house to buy another 4 more dishes, which had bigger portion (we also ordered medium size) than the ones we ordered from this caterer. Also, they only provided 2 just 2 small packets of sambal chilli when we ordered 9 dishes from them! Ridiculous.

Although the food tastes good, we wouldn't be returning until they adjust their pricing to match with their quantity. Because c'mon, we can definitely get better value food elsewhere.

I ordered tingkat for 3pax and paid $280 for 20days. I think the pic I uploaded itself says alot about the value/quality/quantity of food this caterer provides. Plain tofu with a few green peas + plain brinjal + TWO pcs of chicken for THREE adults ... More to share? Really?! Wow. I tried calling customer service, first they don't pick up my call, then subsequently, they directed all calls to voicemail even when I called during office hrs. I never got the chance to ask why 2 pcs of chicken for 3 adults.

The quantity is definitely not sufficient for 3 adults. More like for 1 adult, 2 kids. Food taste average in general, better on some days and not so gd on other days. Soup is very good though, my whole family loves their soup. I would really rather ... More not have any fried dishes because when the fried foods arrived, they have become soggy, no longer crispy.

First time ordering tingkat from this caterer. Requested specifically for tingkat to start on 9th Jan. Customer service (June) who called me to confirm my order wasn't very friendly, and seemed kind of blurr. Said will email me confirmation together ... More with details for me to do bank transfer before my tingkat starts, but nothing received.

1) The tingkat which was supposed to start on the 9th, came on the 8th when I was not home, 2) worse, the invoice stated my tingkat started on 4th! Like huh?! 3) Also, I opted AND PAID for microwaveable containers but it came in the metal tingkat! 4) Requested no fish with bones but first dish that came is exactly fish with bones! Extremely bad first impression needless to say.

Called up to complain, not a single apology fr June, instead she sounded pissed and impatient. Next day, new invoice given was again wrong, it stated tingkat starts on 8th. So fed up with all the mistakes. Called up again, June answered the call, again sounding impatient and pissed and of course no sorry fr her. She finally managed to email me the correct invoice.

It's been 2 weeks now, honestly their food is very simple and repetitive. The taste is not bad, not too oily or salty, no complaints. But I don't feel like the quality of food is worth the value I paid for. Everyday it's just 1 meat dish 1 simple veg, 1 fried stuff eg fishcake, nuggets. Quantity is always just right (eg. 4 chicken wings for 4pax), no extra. I paid $388 for 16days (4day/week) for 4 pax. Not cheap at all.

Honestly, I'm writing this review not for the cash, but for the vent. I want to vent my frustration so bad! This is the first time I ordered from this caterer and I did so mainly based on all the positive reviews I read on foodline. Obviously, I ... More regretted my decision. I really wonder just what kind of good service do others see that I don't?! Firstly, when the person called back to confirm my order, I remembered clearly I told him my event starts at 2pm, and requested for them to come 15min earlier to set up. Not unreasonable right? Then on the event day itself, just to make sure the time again, I called them up. A guy (I forgot to get his name ugh) who handled the call was super impatient and impolite! I asked him what time would the food arrived, he said 2. I said no way, how can you come at 2 pm to set up when my guests arrive at that time?! He simply brushed me off saying there's no more timings already. I hanged up, feeling extremely annoyed. So fine. Some of my guests arrived at 130pm, that's ok since I did say my event will start at 2pm. I waited till 2pm, no food came. Guests were already here but there's no food, no drinks! We called, they said oh they on the way already. Guess what time HE (not they) arrived?! 220pm! LATE! Not only that, there was only ONE guy setting up everything!!! And he was slowwwww! My husband and bro-in-law had to help. And as if the bad service wasn't enough, the food definitely weren't great like what everyone else has described! Guests complained the dessert (which was CHEF RECOMMENDATION btw) was totally tasteless and asked what exactly it was. ALL the meat (fish, pork & chicken) had no meat in them! I mean all of them were fried till I can only taste and feel the hard flour, when I bite, I don't see the juicy white meat inside, it's all just flour. The buns for the braised pork turned rock hard after an hr or so. Chicken curry was ok but way too oily. Am I really thAt unlucky?...Everyone else tasted great food from this caterer But me?! If I had to really choose, I will say only the smoked duck and veggies are worth eating. And honestly I'm not sure if the portion was huge or was it because the food weren't great that's why nobody was eating, we had lots of leftovers. =/ Bad food I can tolerate, because I can't help it if the cook can't cook well. But BAD SERVICE?...NO WAy I will tolerate. The boss didn't even bother to call to apologise, nothing, because anyway, we have already paid up, and that's all that matters, no? In conclusion, I will NEVER again patronize, nor will I EVER recommend this caterer to others.
