Was shocked to find not one, not two but FOUR INSECTS inside one of the dish. The container was vacuum-sealed and this was a poor indication of the hygiene standards and Quality Control of the caterer.

Their Dinner Tingkat Service was delivered before 3pm. I contacted one of the Staff (James) and asked him what time the food was prepared and how long the food can be kept for safe consumption. James replied that the food was prepared at 1.30pm and ... More the food can be kept for 5 hours.

I checked with NEA Website and their guidelines stipulated that the food must be consumed within 4 hours. When I informed James about the NEA guidelines, he did not respond to my messages.

I also noticed that the time stamp provided by EWF PTE LTD was untruthful. For example, the time stamp listed the Ready to Eat time as 1500hrs and the "Consumed by" time as 2000hrs.

First, James informed me that the food was prepared at 1330hrs. Secondly, the food was delivered to my parents' place before 1500hrs. Thus, it is not possible for the "Ready to Eat" timing to be listed as 1500hrs.

In addition, the consumed by time was listed as 2000hrs. This was 6.5hrs since the food was prepared and exceeded the 4 hours stipulated by NEA.

EWF has deliberately made a false entry in the time stamp. Their actions are blatantly putting their customers' health at risk.

My repeated requests for the Management to contact went unanswered.

As such, I reported their unethical actions to Singapore Food Agency and they are currently investigating the matter.
