This is not my first time ordering from this caterer.

The first time I ordered from here was 2017, I fell in love with the salted egg yolk fish/tahu goreng/ayam masak merah and the maggi noodles! It has been a long time from then and when I had ... More to choose a caterer for a upcoming mini gathering, I immediately chose Rilassi Catering.

Chicken rendang was soft and the gravy was so delicious. Excellent pairing with roti jala or rice!

Black pepper fish- This is not a fried/battered fish. This had no salt and no black pepper flavour though it looked ok. Disappointing dish.

Sin Chow Bee Hoon- I asked for the white version and it lived up to the standard! Simple, nothing grand but an excellent canvas to have with the other 'heavier' flavoured items.

Tahu Goreng- The sauce, the sauce, the sauce. sweet and tangy, just like how any good tahu goreng sauce should be!

Mixed Vegetable Deluxe- the vegetables were fresh and crisp, I requested for more gravy which they kindly accomodated to. However, take note this dish spoils easily and or fast.

Samosas were normal. Assorted cake slices was just one flavour, pandan cake but it was nice! almost like a chiffon cake consistency. The elder folks will like it. The nonya kueh was great too, there was variety and there was a nice texture.


My grandmother who does not usually like catered food loves this. So this is a big testimony to the standard. For the price, it is is very hard to find a better quality caterer out there. If you are looking for a value for money buffet and good standard food to dish out to your guests, don't look any further. They have so many menus that fit any group of pax so they definitely have something for everyone.

P.s. My eat time was 12pm and the delivery guy came at 12.15pm so do allow some time adjustments for +- 30 minutes!

I ordered from bakers heart a week prior to the birthday celebration. They were able to confirm the cake within the next working day & called to double confirm the cake and the details that would be on the cake (e.g name on cake). It was easy to ... More contact them & special thanks to Azura for going out of her way to help me with this cake. There were so many designs to choose from but I thought I’d choose the elegant rainbow themed cake. Taste was great too.


It was beautiful already at first glance. The colours were uniform & the rainbow ‘candy’ stood out from the rest. The sponge cake itself was soft & fluffy and the cream was a tad too much so it was hard to cut it because it got abit too messy but it was overall ok & gave the cake some extra texture. Everyone loved it! 1/2kg was more than enough for 10 children or small bellies I would say!

On the collection day I had to wait a little as the customer service officer helped me retrieve it. To cut time, it would be better to call them when you are nearing so they can prepare it, 2-3 mins away.

Overall, I would definitely choose this baker again for their efficient work & tasty cake! For parents looking for a great cake for their kiddo you can consider them.

I ordered from Rilassi Oriental Catering for a birthday. Food itself was generally good but had problems with the service of the caterers.

These were the items we had picked:
Briyani rice, Maggi goreng, Aloo gobi, Ayam masak merah, Salted egg ... More fish, Tahu goreng, Seafood Wanton, Grass Jelly with Sea Coconut & Lime cordial.

Briyani rice: Was too hard & insufficiently cooked, flavour wise it was fine. If it was a tad softer would have been more appetising.


Maggi goreng: This was great! Noodles were QQ & not mushy at all. It was well flavoured & had a good crunch from the vegetables.

Aloo gobhi: Had a more liquid consistency than what I had in mind. It was light yellow & was served in big chunks. Could fare better in terms of flavour.

Ayam masak merah: The gravy itself was good & it was enjoyed by our guests. My only gripe was that the chicken was slightly gamey.

Salted egg fish: This was the highlight of the buffet. The sauce was thick & rich and coated the substantial fried fish pieces evenly. This was a crowd favourite with many returning for more! Even after a few hours the fish did not turn soggy & the salted egg flavour was prominent. Must try!

Tahu goreng: tofu was soft & the gravy was spot on- very authentic! Ideal for a National Day menu & for a tea time snack.

Seafood wanton- crispy but filling could be improved in terms of flavour! Went well with sweet thai chilli sauce.


At the event, during collection time the caterer pointed out that there was a burn mark on the skirting. I was not aware of this & others at the event mentioned that the skirting was not fully covering the table, meaning a chunk of it was stuck to the wall. Misunderstandings aside, I felt that the caterer could have been more polite. I understand that it is written in the invoice that burnt/damaged skirting is chargeable. The others at the event wanted to make sure it was in the invoice & asked the caterer to bring the invoice. He did, but he was rude in the way he asked for the money. He could have said ‘ hi sir/madam, our invoice states that damage or burnt skirting is chargeable. As you can visibly see, the skirting is burnt. As such I would appreciate your kind understanding in making payment.’ In the catering business I am sure you will meet angry & frustrated clients but talking back to them is not helping either of us. Hope this is a learning lesson. To add on, everytime I called Rilassi the person who picks up is not aware of a few things. Fortunately, they are able to clarify enquiries via email better & responded fast.
