Very used to their cooking styles and we can feel the difference recently with the way their dishes were cooked. More consistency now. A big upgrade definitely! I think the ... More prices also differs (higher)! Anyways, a customer spoke about the sour vegetables and yup, there’s major difference now. I noticed the food comes way early for my sector, like 4pm, so we got to rush to eat before 7pm, if possible.

Food was OK. The proportions are not consistent with each dish. The Thai beancurd came in huge amount :D the combination is good and complement each other but they did not have the real flavors of Malay cuisine. Similarly, the Ambeng Platter was ... More very far off and different from what we expect of Nasi Ambeng. They may want to hire a Malay Chef as a consultant when doing Malay cuisine-related dishes. Or did we expect too much? Definitely not my first time ordering from Robert. The food portions are not consistent on some days. We have been getting the 4-dishes Tingkat for the past few orders. The food has improved in taste or maybe our taste buds have adapted to the ... More cooking style. Some days with curry dishes - it is like a surprise. We felt it was such a treat when whole chicken drumstick dish came up. Currently, I am still waiting for the Halal certification to be put up before ordering the next time.

Food meant for my wife and I - in our 80’s. Ok but I wish they have more options for teeth-friendly dishes. Those that are hard to eat such as deep-fried foods, usually go to waste.

We decided to get 20-days this time round as 10-days package went by fairly quickly. We enjoyed the daily dishes but sometimes, the portions did not feel like for 3-pax. The inconsistent portions could be somewhat disappointing when compared from ... More one day to another. I felt bad to call in to complain. Maybe, I should! Nevertheless, the quality has improved over time. Felt as if they changed their kitchen chefs and crew - from the cooking style and taste.

This 10-days was one of the best Tingkat days for us. Another repeat order for us. The dishes compliment one another very well. Can see that they gave a good thought and heavy consideration when conjuring the daily menu. This is really good feat! As ... More usual, the best is to go four-dishes Tingkat :D

These 10 days of Tingkat was really good. We didn’t have much to ask why this and that. We just ate all up as the combination of dishes in that day were really complimenting one another. We love all the vegetable dishes.

We decided to do the four-dishes this time round and we did not regret our decision. It is really better without the soup option. For once, this 10-days, we pretty enjoyed the food. Hopefully the salted egg dishes will do a comeback!

It’s our second time ordering and took it for 10-days this round. The portions could do slightly better for our 3-pax order. Also, we decided to do four dishes instead of three dishes with soup. They really may have potential to retain their ... More customers if they think of the menu real hard and realized of how important the taste of one dish potentially affects the rest. Sometimes, it’s a hit and miss thing. Some days are really great, others not so mouth-watering.

Robert Catering could really do better as this is not the first time I ordered from them. They could really do something for customer retention. Firstly, they can check for the consistency of their daily menu and whipped out better dishes. They do ... More not have to be exceptionally good. A simple dish could do wonders.
