I always read reviews that say everything is good with this hewtop, how can that be?? These people sound more like "Promoters" to me. There are so many defects in their food and these people can't name a single one?? I doubt whether they had tried ... More the dishes or just review for other commercial reasons.

1. The prawns are not fresh at best and rotten at worst
2. The vegetable got a very weird taste in them sometimes
3. Hewtop serve eggs more often and its likely you will get high cholesterol
4. They serve Pig trotters and bitter gourd which have no takers
5. Their food is very oily, comparable to kentucky fried chicken's oil, even economic rice stalls are very much healthier

So beware of those reviews which only say very good but no detailed description at all. I personally ordered many times and this review is my last and final one. I decided to buy from hawker centers from now on. At $5.50 per head, their food is better and healthier.

This round, the prawns are edible abit not very fresh. At the least, the prawns are not rotten. Hewtop have to do better and improve on their food.

Received inedible and half rotten prawns again on 26 May 2023. In my last review, I already told management to throw them away. As the prawns are not fresh, I decided to throw them away again, to avoid any deadly bacterial intestinal infection. Very ... More disappointed with hewtop.

Found that the food is too oily. The gravy is oily for all dishes. Everything is very oily almost comparable to the deep fried French fries. Even for economic rice stall, their food not half as oily as Hewtop food. So Hewtop quite a failure here.

The Prawns today have already rotten or started to rot, the prawn flesh in not one whole, the flesh fall apart just when i touch it. We threw them away as we don't want to end up in the hospital or some deadly bacterial infection.

Good value for the price, keep it up! I had ordered from the same vendor many times, we are satisfied with the quality and quantity of food and service so far.

This is the second time within 20 days order, that I received Bitter gourd ( 苦 瓜 ) as a dish. I feedbacked separately to foodline and also hewtop that we don't eat 苦 瓜 . We don't think bitter gourd can qualify as a dish. If it can, those ... More economic rice stalls will be selling it already. Even if they sell, hardly anyone will buy.

So hewtop, please don't prepare this dish for your customers anymore, for god sake. This cheap dish is also harmful for long term consumption. It is worst than dwarf melon 矮瓜.

The standard seem to have improved this time. I stopped ordering for over a month due to the low quality food, however, this problem is resolved now. Hope they can keep up with the current standard.

Despite many complaints, fallen on deaf ears, the peanut is not cooked enough, as a result, my aged old mother say too hard to chew, throw away. I will stop order from this seller for some time, let see. Portion is generous though, but ANY HOW COOK. ... More That's the problem.

The most recent week, quality and quantity of food had improved over the past weeks. If they can keep this up, I will surely recommend this caterer to others.
