5 Activities to Kill Time at Home
2nd week into Singapore’s Circuit Breaker, and I think all of us are already dying to go out. Hang in there! Even for the homebodies, now the outside no longer seem like somewhere you don’t want to go, but somewhere you can’t. Honestly, that’s why this is hard. It is no longer our decision to stay at home, and we hate it, since we LOVE to have choices.

So you turn to binging Netflix series, YouTube, Nintendo games. But the time will come when you suffer carpal tunnel syndrome from holding all these electronics. Also, watching Mario driving his little kart around no longer gave you the satisfaction you needed. Time to do something productive!
Here are some of the few things you can do at home to kill some time!
Try Tik Tok

Trust me, I am no dancer. If I had to dance for a million dollars, I would have to pay a fine instead. TikTok is all the rave right now. But if you have no idea how to get your arms and legs to coordinate, this could be a fun and hilarious ride. Get your mum and dad to join in as well. Learn a TikTok dance!
Bucket-List

Come up with a Post-Covid bucket list. Remember that time, the busiest time of your life, and there you are, planning on the things you want to do when the holidays finally come round. Now is the time to do that! Planning for the future might give you more hope and excitement!
Take Online Courses

There are tons of online courses that you can take for free! Learn adobe photoshop, learn how to create a website, how to use excel and even how to draw and cook! This is one way to kill time, as there are courses that can only be completed over a period. On top of that, for those that have the urge to finish whatever you have started… this is good for you.
Read a Book!

Pick up a book, read it! Reading can kill a whole lot of time. And a lot more, if you are a slow reader, like me. Reading can be something refreshing, since its been ages since you last read something that is printed on paper. Interesting, the current book I’m reading is titled “Everything is F*cked- A Book About Hope”… give it go, it’s a good read.
Cook Trendy Food

Ya, trendy food. LOL. There are the fluffy pancakes, the Korean mixed ramen, and many more. Try them out! You can decide if it’s worth the hype. Unpopular opinion: Dalgona Coffee is a waste of my time. (I’m speaking as a person that had to beat the life out of my coffee and have no electronic mixer, so please don’t beat me up).
While you are busy doing all these fun activities, please don’t forget to have your meals! If you are looking for daily meal plans, or food delivery, head down to www.foodline.sg for more!
