CK Cuisine Review - Thai Style Food That'll Keep You Coming Back for More!
Because of the pandemic, we don't really have the opportunity to travel to the land of smiles and satisfy our cravings for authentic Thai food (and shopping of course). Well, for all the Thai food lovers out there, I've got a treat for you! CK Cuisine delivers on some quality, authentic, and most importantly, absolutely delicious Thai-style food! Read on to find out more about the awesome dishes they provide. Check out the video on CK Cuisine here:
1. Soy Pork Rice

The soy pork rice by CK Cuisine came with a very generous serving of meat, quail eggs, and gravy. It goes well with the delicious and fragrant rice and together, all the flavours and textures compliment each other perfectly! The sauce and meats aren't overpoweringly salty as you might expect. If you don't really have a strong preference for Thai food, you can think of this like a bowl of classic Lu Rou Fan, but only better! Rating: 4.5/5
2. Thai Pork Noodle

If you're someone who prefers noodles to rice, this is a great alternative to the soy pork rice. This dish comes with generous portions of pork slices, pork balls, noodles, and bean sprouts along with the flavourful but not too salty broth. The noodles are perfectly cooked and have the springy "Q-Q" texture that we all love. The proteins are perfectly cooked too and they taste fresh as well. The main star of the dish has to be the broth, which doesn't have that "MSG" taste that turns us away from cheaper alternatives. This is the perfect comfort food that makes you feel warm, happy, and fuzzy on the inside.

3. Homemade Thai Fish Cake

If you've ever been to Thailand, you'll know that Thai fish cakes are extremely popular as an appetizer and I would say that CK Cuisine has definitely done this classic dish its due justice. This is definitely reminiscent of the otah fish cakes we have in Singapore, with a Thai red curry taste. The texture of the fish cakes are spongey and the flavours are all well balanced and they aren't too spicy too. If you'd like, you can dip them in the sweet chili sauce for an extra boost!

4. Homemade Prawn Cake

These cakes are similar to that of the Thai fish cakes I've just mentioned. Of course, you can expect them to be good too! Similar to that of the fish cakes, they're spongey and they taste like the otahs we have in Singapore, only with a more seafood-y taste. But that doesn't mean that they aren't delicious! You can dunk these in the sweet chili sauce too for a match made in heaven.

5. Chicken Wings

Well, you just can't go wrong with chicken wings, especially those from CK Cuisine. Although the food is delivered in takeaway boxes, the chicken wings magically remained crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. The wings are also seasoned perfectly and I just love dipping them in the sweet chili sauce that came with them.

6. Thai Style Grilled Pork

Last but not least, I'll introduce the star of the show! The pork skewers are grilled to perfection with that barbeque char taste that's so addicting. The portions aren't small too and the meat is still moist on the inside. The dish is also extremely flavourful but not too salty at the same time.
