FL Kitchen - Garlic Prawns Udon
Today, we tried to make Garlic Prawns Udon and let me share with you our experience!
Firstly, here are the ingredients needed to make this dish:

- Udon
- Sesame oil
- Cooking oil
- Minced garlic
- Diced mushroom, cabbage, carrots (any vegetables of your choice)
- Oyster sauce solution (1 tbsp sauce + 3 tbsp water)
- Prawns, deveined
Steps:
- Boil your udon noodles in a pot of boiling water and gently stir to loosen the noodles.
- Drain your udon noodles and add a dash of sesame oil. Mix well.
- In a frying pan under medium-high heat, add some cooking oil and toss in your minced garlic until golden brown.
- Toss in all your diced vegetables and stir fry until they are cooked through. You may add in some water, if necessary.
- Add in your prawns and stir fry for 1-2 minutes.
- Add in your cooked udon noodles and stir fry for another 1-2 minutes.
- Add in the oyster sauce solution and mix well.
- Ta-da! That’s it! Serve while the udon is hot!

Personally, we felt that this recipe is a must try! It is super beginner friendly. The udon noodles came out really nicely too. Not only were the noodles al dente, but they had a really nice texture to it. You can feel free to add in salt and pepper to season the noodles to your liking. We also recommend adding a dash of soy sauce if that’s your thing!
