Chinese New Year is the annual celebration of an important occassion celebrated by generation of families!
Just like last year, we will still be celebrating Chinese New Year with the pandemic and there will be limited amount of people that can gather!

In this bundle, you get to choose 6 different Food Items + 1 Fixed Item which would be the dessert!
Also, not to worry about the portion as they are super generous with each serving, it is definitely more than enough.
1. 海鲜新洲米粉 Seafood Xin Chew Bee Hoon
This dish is commonly known in Singapore as Singapore-style fried beehoon, it is usually stir-fried with Egg, Prawn and Bean Sprouts.
The overall taste wise is springly and moist despite the fact that it is stir-fried and the seasoning of the beehoon is just nice.
Definitely recommend to all ages as the beehoon isnt too hard and it is chewable for any age.
Well, if you are not a noodle person, you can choose between Fragrant Fried Rice 春临大喜豐收-喜庆香米,
Pineapple Fried Rice 黄利炒饭 and Seafood Hong Kong Mee 海鲜香港面.

2. 虾酱鸡 Prawn Paste Chicken
Next up, this dish has got to be my favourite dish out of the whole bundle! Not just because I am a fan of Prawn Paste Chicken but because this elevated by standard for Prawn Paste Chicken in the future! First off, it is fried till the crust is golden-brown and the flakes that comes along with it is super crunchy and flavourful.
Upon taking the first bite, the tender meat melts in your mouth, Yes, I am being for real. But for those of us in the know, Har Cheong Gai is the epitome of fried chicken wings.
This is highly addictive, it feels like you can never have enough of each serving...

3. 千煎虾禄 Tomato Prawns
This wonderful dish creates flavour and excitment to indulge in it.
I would say it is something similiar to our usual Sambal Prawn just that this is Tomato, which is on the sweeter and less savoury side.
The main point is that the prawn is fresh and easy to peel! The prawn meat is tender and comes with a hint of sweetness for its after taste.
There is nothing not to love about this dish, it isn't spicy which is suitable for people that do not eat spicy!

4. 参峇苏东 Sambal Sotong
Next up, Sambal sotong is a signature Malay Peranakan dish which consists of squid fried with chilli paste.
It is a simple yet super appetizing dish due to its strong savoury flavour.
The taste has a hint of spicness due to the sambal sauce and the addition of chilli padi!
Personally, I am not a fan of Sotong due its rubbery texture but I must say I might grow fond for it after trying out this plate of Sambal Sotong!
I enjoyed the sotong together with the onions!

姜葱啦啦 Ginger Onion Clams
For our fifth dish, we have 姜葱啦啦 Ginger Onion Clams! I think the most important is part is the cleaning of the Clams, Clams naturally come with dirt and it is important to wash it clean to avoid the sand texture while chewing the Clams. I would say Buey Tahan Seafood did a relatively well job in handling the clams, I could barely taste any sandy textures.
This dish is usually stir-fried but yet the clam meat is still locked with moisture along side the ginger onion gravy. This dish is rich in aroma and flavour and every bite of it is super sweet and refreshing!

6. 白灵菇西兰花 Bai Ling Gu Broccoli
For the last dish, we have Bai Ling Gu Broccoli, I would say this is a common dish served on many Chinese household dining table!
I felt that this dish gives off a sumptuous look, there is a strong colour constrast between the different ingredients.
From the black and shiny mushroom to the bright green broccoli couple with slices of orange sliced carrot and green peas.
The mushroom is also simmered to the right flavour, it doesnt feel dehydrated at all.

6. 巧克力泡芙 Chocolate Eclairs
Last but not least, this dish is a fixed choice of dessert, what is there to complain about a stunning plate of Chocolate Eclairs?
Not forgetting about the creamy chocolate filling, upon the first bite, the cream oozes out in your mouth, it feels like a cloud of sweetness dropping!
It is super convenient to share around when your guests are over at your place!
