Healthy Bento set (QQ Vegan with Oat Rice)

Perfect if you have vegetarian or vegan guests, this healthy bento set is composed of Oat rice with mixed grains, salad, broccoli and also vegetable Sambal chilli. For our review, we tried their Alfresco Mushroom as well, which was fresh and fairly tasty. The Oat rice with mixed grains is definitely a healthier and more wholesome alternative to the white rice we normally eat!

Chinese Bento set (Value B)

Looking to serve your guests some comfort Chinese food? This is a delightful savoury choice to have! Grandmother Chicken curry, Sambal Tao Kwa, stir fried white cabbage with dried shrimp and paired with warm steamed rice, tummies will be satisfied and hearts will be warm. The Grandmother Chicken curry was packed with flavour – albeit not spicy, and the chicken meat was tender, making it an enjoyable dish to have with rice! The Sambal Tao Kwa was coated with a layer of sweet Sambal, which reminded me of those you would have with Nasi Lemak, except this one had onions in it as well. Delish!

Western Bento set (Premium Cuisine F)

We tried the Western Bento set which came with a main of Aglio Olio spaghetti, baked Chicken Chop with mushroom sauce and mixed salad. Chicken chop is a well-loved favourite of many and an adequate serving was given in each bento set. However, the taste was not compromised and the chicken chop had just the right amount of juiciness and tenderness. Paired with flavoursome mushroom sauce, I’m certain any western food lover would savour this! The Aglio Olio was also cooked al dente, and the capsicums gave it an extra bite which I liked.
