Exercising: Indoors or Outdoors?
Staying at home has turned your limbs to mush? It is hard to start working out, but even the simplest exercises can make all the difference. Take your first step now! Due to the current situation, it’s best to stay home as much as possible. But there are times where taking a walk outdoors can make you feel more refreshed. Here are some benefits of exercising indoors and outdoors!
Indoors

The best thing about exercising indoors: rain or shine, you can still get that grind! Yes, your plans to exercise will not depend on the weather outside. I will admit it, there were times where I hoped the sky would turn dark while I am putting on my shoes. But of course, the sun shines bright and I drag my heavier than ever legs out the door.
Exercising at home can create a more regular exercise routine. Other than that, get your family members to exercise together! Get your very own personal cheer leader or mean trainer.

At this point, the outdoors seems foreign. Still, it’s good to take a stroll at the parks for some fresh air. If you are tired from working out at home, or feel lethargic, head out for a change. That being said, do remember to bring your masks along with you! Strap it around your wrist.
Exercising outside can help you to relax, and take a breather. Since work can get stressful at times, the outdoors can help you take your mind off work for a second. Also, you can burn more calories when you are outside! You are less likely to check the time while exercising outside, and enjoy the scenery.
As Singapore is slowly moving forward with more Covid-19 measures, please remember that you should not let your guard down and keep up with your personal hygiene!
