How To Keep Your House Mosquito-Free
Yes, Dengue is an existing problem in Singapore for many years and we can see an increase in Dengue cases over the past few months. To keep you and your loved ones safe, I will be sharing a few simple tips you might need to keep your house safe to prevent mosquito breeding.
- Water Spots

Yes, I am sure we all know that stagnant water is the most ideal breeding ground for mosquitoes but it is very easy to overlook some spots that might collect water. This is especially so for bucket pail, if you have one, do remember to flip it upside down when not in use, this will not give mosquitoes any space to start breeding.
- Consider making all-natural mosquito repellent sprays

Fun Fact: Mosquitoes have a strong sense of smell, they are able to smell from 50 meters away!
If you have time, you can boil a few cloves of crushed garlic in water for some time. Pour it into a spray after cooling it down and spray at areas you think might be prone to mosquitoes breeding. Only do this if you like or do not mind the smell of garlic.

Heard of Mosquito Coils? Yes, they are cheap, affordable and generally quite effective in keeping mosquitoes away. However, use it sparingly as it is claimed that smelling too much of the smoke will do you no good.
