Is Burning Candles To Sleep Safe?

Candles can be used for many purposes such as for mood setting or even adding pleasant aroma in the house. I have friends around me that need to light a candle to sleep but is it really safe to do it frequently?

The answer is no, better to not sleep with a candle.

The first main reason is because candles are easily knocked over, you never know what might happen when you are asleep, candles are fragile items that can cause a huge mess. If such things happen when you are awake, you can handle the situation immediately, but what happens when you are asleep?

Not to mention, nearby objects have the likelihood of catching fire as well, if you place a candle near the curtain, there is high risk of it catching fire so do be careful of what objects are placed around the candle.

Other than that, there is also risk of your candle wax leaking!

Even though it is unlikely for wax to catch fire, the wax can stain the floor or the surface it is spilled on. It will be a hassle to remove it especially for certain surfaces like carpet.

Yes, candles are visually appealing and it gives off a pleasant aroma, but try not to burn it to sleep because there are many risks that comes along with it!
