What Is Intermittent Fasting?
Intermittent fasting is an eating pattern that involves both fasting and eating. There are various ways to do intermittent fasting, but the most common method is 16:8.
16:8 Method
This method means that you fast for 16 hours and can only eat within 8 hours. In simpler terms, it means either skipping breakfast or dinner. The good thing about this method is that it is completely up to you to schedule eating patterns based on your lifestyle.

For example, the usual eating period will be from 12pm-8pm, but one can also choose to eat from 9am-5pm and then fast till the next day or any other period, depending on the individual.
When you eat, it is recommended to eat healthy for intermittent fasting to work. Avoid food such as processed meats, sugar, trans fats, and refined starches. Eating a balanced diet with fruits and vegetables will be ideal.
