When you sweat, your body produces a compound called lactic acid and mosquitoes are attracted to lactic acid. Therefore, after an intense workout, your risk of getting attacked by mosquitoes is higher.
Also, after exercising, your body experiences a heat increase due to the raise in body's metabolism rate. A warm temperature place is an even better place for mosquitoes to attack.

Other than smell, mosquitoes also rely on sight to spot their potential target. Light shades clothing will blend in while dark shades are easier for mosquitoes to spot and land on.

Till then, take care and stay safe!
