Flavor was ok but certain parts of the cake was a little dry. 2) Amount of blueberry filling was quite scarce. 3) Service was ok but can be better. E.g. only 1 candle provided & if you want more candles its chargeable. ... More Other vendors don't charge, granted the candle is a special candle but I rather have more "normal" candles than 1 silver candle. 4) Instructions that were given via messages were not always understood & had to be clarified a number of times. 5) Also, having a tall cake casing is very impractical for storage as well as transportation. Having one that better suits the cake size would've been better. 6) Cake price has been lowered since a week ago when the order was placed. Overall the cake is ok but for the price point, other cake vendors that I've dealt with before had better price point with some having better taste, cake texture and fillings. That said, we made several exceptions for your order. We accommodated your request to change the colour of the cake to blue at no additional charge, and although the cake comes with a fixed Father’s Day tag, we also provided you with an additional birthday tag and ice pack free of charge—something we usually charge for. These special requests were met in good faith. Our cake recipes and fillings are standardised across all orders to ensure consistency. Nonetheless, we’ll take your comments into account as part of our ongoing product reviews. The cake box used is standard for tall cakes, designed to protect the cake during transport. We use shorter boxes for smaller cakes, and the appropriate box was selected based on the size of your order. As for pricing, we occasionally adjust our prices based on seasonal promotions and internal business decisions. Pricing at the point of purchase applies at time of order.
