I would give a 10/10 for effort and presentation, but foodwise was unfortunately lackluster in comparison. To be honest, we had a hard time deciding what we liked most, but settled for roast duck, ... More with it tasting the most 'normal'. The Udon and Butter Garlic Rice staples were too bland, the rice were barely touched at all. We had great hopes for the beef stew, but were disappointed with the toughness of the meat, it was too hard, im not sure it was due to the cut of the meat or if it was overcooked though. The Baked Crayfish was too dry and had little salted egg yolk taste in the meat even when salted egg yolk is supposedly a rather heavy flavour. The Seafood otah was a first of its kind i must applaud for its creativity, but taste wise, similar to the rest of the unmentioned dishes, was pretty normal and nothing out of the ordinary. We were fairly disappointed as well with the serving size of the food as well, in fact not everyone got to eat the pastry dessert. We managed to finish the food, surprisingly, since we had always the issue of clearing up the remaining food from previous catering experiences. It was simply not enough for everyone, which was kind of awkward in fact, when we ordered extra headcounts above the number of persons actually eating. The Smoke Duck dish and Lobster soup were the only favourites that had praises for. The Lobster soup had a rather generous serving of seafood within, and the smoke duck was well marinated. Last but not least, although the food was abit of a let down, the punctuality of the crew and the effort took to set up (1hr in total) was commendable.
