Empress Porridge

Food and quality of food is good. Some meals looks simple but taste wise is good.
Some days you will still receive via Tingkat and some days reusable containers.
Overall happy with it though pricing is a little steep

Most of the dishes are nice, but the soup always has a weird taste. Not sure what they added in the soup.
Some days the soup came in thermal flask, some days in disposable containers. Dishes sometimes in washable containers, sometimes in disposable too. But so far the experience is good cos everyday different cuisine. Mrs Goh is very friendly and prompt to respond.

Luv the variety of food and different cuisine served and the portion is reasonable. Thumbs up to their environmental friendly effort in packaging. Price is on the high side though.

Menu is interesting & a good variety.
However, the food was generally too salty for us. Also a bit pricey.

Love the fact they always come up with new dishes everyday! They even add varieties like jap, korean and when is friday its always a twist from western!

Tingkat had a variety of dishes but family thought that food was slightly too salty for our taste. Delivery was on time everyday

Food delivery was around 5pm plus to 6pm plus. The food was good overall, soup was nice not salty except for the szechuan soup which was too salty for our liking. The meatball was nice but will get sick from the fats if had too much of it. There's even Malay dessert that came together with the Nasi Lemak meal and the last meal of the order.

Customer service was good whereby menu of the week was sent via WhatsApp.

Nice change from the usual Chinese tingkat food, though the pricing is on the higher side.

The food was excellent ! And the menu was a mixture of Chinese, nonya and western which was great in terms of variety. Furthermore the ingredients were fresh and less oily compared to Hewtop and Uncle Leong. I tried 4 tingkat services ( Hewtop, Uncle Leong, The Catering Concerto and Empress Porridge over the past 2 months because of new born. I definitely choose The Catering Concerto and Empress Porridge again as opposed to the other two even though they are more expensive. Really love the service too. Mrs Goh would check on me to see if the food was OK. When I mentioned the food was cold, she arranged for the food to be packed in thermal containers.

Delivery timing is consistent so I can plan. Soup is packed in thermos flask so it can keep hot till ready to serve without having to reheat for dinner. Superb A-star service. Menu includes variety of staple like porridge, white rice, Brown rice, jap rice and noodles. It is different from the run of the mill menu. Portion is enough except one day crispy pork belly too little. Overall good quality food and great service.

Thanks for catering to our requests to use Tiffin carriers and for the occasional additional portions of plain porridge! Totally exceeded expectations : )
