Fong Fu Food Catering

Ordered 3 dishes + 1 soup tingkat for 10days. The soup too salty, everyday different soup but taste the same. The other dishes also not nice.

All guests dislike the salty noodles
Very, very saltish
Right amount of food for 10 guests
No response from caterer in messaging to confirm order on day of delivery

This time round the vegetables are disasters.. the vegetable are overcooked, yellowish and taste very bitter.. meat dishes also quite bad.. will be giving a miss for this caterer for a while and try on others.. was late on few occasions > 6.10pm, usual timing to deliver was < 5pm

Disappointed with the food overall.

-Curry chicken was watery, not kept warm as the flame was out even at set up.
-Portion for 35pax (min order) but looked like for 25pax...
-Caterer forgot my dessert. Departed at 645pm from venue and returned 90 minutes later to bring my dessert. Had to call them a few times to ask when the driver was arriving. Because of the late arrival, none of my guests were keen on taking the dessert resulting in an almost full tub of left over.

Probably only saving grace was their responsive and fast customer service via whatsapp.

Overall, will not order from them again.

We didnt like the vegetables on most days but they were very flexible with the skip of days which we really like. otherwise i dun really like it

Portion was ok, generally food was not great. We never finish any food but had to buy from outside. Vegetables tasted weird.
Taste wise also not as good as my previous caterer

Food taste and food portion is acceptable but dinner time delivery is way too late, usually reach my house around 7 pm. Thus, i do not renew my tingkat with this caterer.

Delivery was on time. Soup always milky with strong porky taste which we couldn't take it. Weird combination eg pear soup, barley gingko with pork. Non soup dishes was okay, only sometimes will turn sour when dine around 7pm plus.

Multiple return orders, food portion is good, and taste is good, would recommend to friend and other.

Mine is DINNER tingkat. For every single day the food arrived at 1.50pm. Yes 1.50pm... That's ridiculously early for dinner. That means the food is cook at 12pm-1pm?
It's fortunate i'm at home each time to take in the food. If we are all out working and could only reach home at 6-7pm, the food would most probably spoil in the hot weather nowadays.

I did complain to them, the person reply was ask me to put my own thermal bag outside my house so that their guy can put the food inside. Firstly wth they want to trouble me to buy my own thermal bag, secondly, that method is not safe anyways. It's because everytime i open up the plastic containers, the covers are full of water condensation. That means the food is not cool down first before they close the cover.
That is the exact recipe for bacteria growth = warm temperature and high humidity.
So that means putting them in a thermal bag would NOT help at all.
I'm never ordering from this caterer again.
