Fong Fu Food Catering

The service was good in the initial months when I ordered with Fong Fu. Subsequently, I was told that I need to pay an additional $20 because I stayed in Condo. I asked how come when for my 1st and 2nd renewed orders, I was not charged extra? The reply was difficult to come into condo. I am not happy that the food was delivered to my place very early, like before 2pm. This means that the food for my dinner was prepared even much earlier if the delivery time is so early.

They have a lot variety in their menu. 5days a row are mostly different dishes.

Portion was generous. BUT, at time it only suffice for 1 pax (example their veg dishes).

Taste wise for dishes is good except the soup is bland.

Our area delivery usually is around 4:45pm to 5pm. Only a few time (once or twice) during rain driver came around 640pm

Had extended another 20days till mid August.

Food most of the times the veg dish or dish with sauce is salty eg. Chicken or fish with sauce. Hardly got fish.
Service so far so good as notify us by ringing the doorbell except the no fat pork request they cant do it so based on No Pork.

My daughter recommended Fong Fu to us after we had another tingkat dinner caterer for the past 4 years. She herself ordered tingkat lunch from Fong Fu and found the food and service good. I took on her advice and ordered tingkat dinner for the first time for 20 days. Thanks to my daughter's recommendation, we like the food and selection. The food is tasty and really suit our tastebuds. Delivery is within normal hours though there was an occasion when I had to check on the delivery time. Overall, I am satisfied with Fong Fu and just renewed our tingkat dinner for another 20 days.

The food is generally tasty however the soup is rather blend. The lotus peanut soup taste more like water and salt rather than lotus/peanut, hence i requested to change from soup to food on the 5th day. (Informed on a Saturday)

They then replied that they will change but only manage to change from soup to normal dish on the very last day of the package.

Requested to increase the portion, but the food portion was still the same. The food portion was generally to little for 5pax. Hence i had to cook for every meal provided.
Example for chicken wing, each person were given 1 wing. Even ordering from a neighborhood coffee shop gives more.

Yes, food is simple but nice. Delivery man is friendly although delivery time is too early for dinner.

Food is not bad, dishes repetitive sometimes. Capsicum was given as one of the dishes on one of the days

Dinner came at around 3pm which is somewhat early. Food taste is so so (maybe my personal taste). Soup isn't as delicious as other vendors but portion is good enough. Can consider adding "special menu" like Bak Kut Teh, Fried Kway Teow...etc to spice up the menu.

The delivery time is around 3.30pm... which is quite acceptable to me.

Food is mediocre but for $214 for 20 days 2 adults.. is very affordable.

The delivery time for lunch is about 11:30am. Food taste good and portion was just right. Repeat order :)
