Ordered both lunch and dinner. caterer is nice to have us use the extra chairs from lunch through dinner although we only required it at night.

It was my first time ordering through Grain. Despite raining heavily in Yishun before the housewarming, the service staff came early to set up the table. Thank you for being punctual.
Great service provided by the service staff that was assigned to set up the food. He was able to answer our doubts with regards to the halal certification, as we have some Malay colleagues coming over to our housewarming.
The housewarming set up was unique as Grain uses wooden spoon and forks. The wooden utensil used was environmentally friendly and also it create a awareness to my colleague who attended my housewarming. As a environment conscious person, I am glad that Grain actually make the effort to go green.
The food that was catered was on point too and most of my colleague actually commented that it was the most healthy housewarming food they had. I am glad that I make the right choice and catered the best healthy food that would make an improvement on my colleague health.
Overall, i would definitely recommend Grain for their superb service provided and their effort to go green as well as the healthy food that was catered.

The mini chocolate caramel tart is very yummy.
Overall foods are good, except for the Cold Buckwheat Soba Noodle Salad, the noodle sticking together.

The delivery was punctual and not excessively early. Came 15 min earlier than stipulated time. Food is nicely packed in the thermal bag, which each container nicely sealed to prevent leakage.

Food wise, this is a twist from the standard buffet. My guest enjoy the western selection. The portion is not too bad too.

First time ordering from Foodline and the experience has been seamless I may say. The agent was professional and knowledgeable. Would definitely like to order from Foodline again.

This is my second time ordering from Grain as we love the uncommon catering menu and the food were awesome.

This time however, I am quite disappointed. The drink wasn’t enough at all. The one canister of drink was gone within an hour and my guests haven’t even arrived completely. We opened it and there were plenty of ice, we had to refill it with drinks that we had prepare due to our experience (insufficient drinks) too from Grain last year. But this year, not even 40 pax has arrived and the drink gone in less than an hour is absurd.

The Panko prawns were so tiny all we see is crusts. The guests were joking that it’s treasure hunting. The size is no joke, like 25% prawns and 75% crusts, it’s a big heap of crusts.

Lastly, one container of the vanilla cream(bread and butter pudding) was placed in front of the salad, some of my guests had mistakenly thought it’s dressing for the salad and complained it taste weird then I realised the mistake.

To be fair, the cauliflower couscous pomegranate and roast chicken were wonderfull though.

I love Grain’s good food, but today was disappointing.

The food portion is good for more than 10 pax. Overall the food quality is acceptable but the olive fried rice is a huge disappointment. It is very dry and bland. Our 10 guests only eat one quarter of it. The prawn and fish is not as great as well.

Grain has never disappointed us. We usually order the mini-buffet to-go menu but their classic buffet is definitely worth it! The ingredients used are of high quality and the taste is fantastic. Also, I liked that they don't have the usual traditional chinese dishes like other caterers, their dishes have a bit of a modern twist. Which caterer serves Blue Butterfly Pea Coconut Rice? It looks so beautiful and tasty! Curry was fresh and not too oily. Vegetables are fresh and crunchy. Fried fish is one of the best bites!

We ordered from Grain for our wedding buffet at my place and it was a great decision, not forgetting that it was the first time we ordered from Grain. Our guests shared that food was nice, and the utensils used were environmentally friendly as well. Table setup was nicely done, will definitely order from them again in the future!

First time ordering via Foodline and Grain. Good customer service. But food can be better. Although it had the warmer, but some food was cold when served to guests.

All the food served by this caterer is very good. I like the multigrain basil rice which is cooked just nice. The red cabbage was very good with roasted mixed greens. The grilled chicken was good with grilled broccoli and potatoes. Overall the food was very good.
