Food was generally good! Enjoyed the desserts and the meatball and the linguine. Chicken was good. Log cake was very worth it!

I wrote a rave review for Grain’s Xmas mini buffet 2024. We loved it so much there was no discussion necessary before we decided on catering from Grain again this Xmas. Unfortunately the quality was not sustained. Most of the dishes were satisfactory although nothing to write home about. The beef dish was very disappointing though, in both quantity and quality. Price wise, Grain has always been more premium, and we certainly felt it was justified last year. Not so sure about this year.

Food was good, the set up was simple as it was a mini Buffett and star was punctual.

I would say the best part was the meatball for the Christmas menu!

The dessert was also surprisingly good!

Will definitely order again

Service was great. But the dishes could have been better. Also one of the tray of vegetables was spoilt but Grains was kind enough to provide a partial refund.

The food quality for this year was much better than the previous years! The testimony came from my wife and a few of the guests. Also, both the foodline and grain staffs were very helpful when changing some of the items in my order!

Have been ordering grain for personal and corporate events! Variety of healthy choices. Ordered the mini buffet of 15 pax for a 25 people event and it was just nice!

All the dishes are superb! We like the dry laksa pasta the most and second would be the fish. Cutlery sets are sufficient but maybe can cut down the quantity of tongs(personal preference to go green). Would definitely order again from Grain!

Punctual, and smooth set up of buffet tables. Dishes were suitably portioned and taste was just right.

Food setup - On time, a little early than requested time but food still warm when my guests reached.

Taste: Very healthy, less salty, less oily. Love that it's a bit different from the usual catering food.

Grain’s House Salad (V): Didn't expect the base of this salad to be quinoa, tot will be more greens (6/10)

Butterfly Blue Pea Rice (V): Very fluffy rice, taste quite good (7/10)

Hikari Miso Glazed Chicken: A little bit saltish , might be due to miso. Chicken not too dry, the mushrooms & carrots was well taste too. (7/10)

Assam Spiced Dory: Nice cooked, not too spicy or sour. Just nice. Goes well with the rice (8/10)

Braised Mushroom and Broccoli(V): Broccoli a bit hard. But garlic sauce was yummy (7/10)

Japanese Karaage: Nothing special, fried well. (8/10)

Chocolate éclair (V): Yummy (8/10)

Chamomile Mint Tea(V): Very refreshing. But i guess chamomile is not accepted by all people in general. (7/10)

Staff came on time to clear up the buffet also.
Nice experience. Staff was friendly & polite.
Will order it next time.

The food was set up earlier so i could actually set my time later since they will keep the trays back within a certain timeframe,
All the dishes were nice and the guests finished most of the dishes! I personally like the honey glazed dory fish and the paprika rice!
