Very grateful for this tingkat service.
Not sure if the food (as I’m not the one eating) but the service and price are good!
Have tried a little of the cold leftovers at end of the day. Some tastes fine; others ok. Not fair commentary cos I didn’t have it hot.

The Prawns today(08 June) are either Totally ROTTEN or Partially ROTTEN. I ordered many times from Hewtop, this is the first time that i had ROTTEN prawns. As usually, each person got 3 prawns. All my prawns are Partially ROTTEN. MY mother's prawns got 2 are Totally ROTTEN. We had no choice but to throw the ROTTEN parts away. This is proof that Hewtop had changed for the worse. They can do better than this, i believe.

Apart from the ROTTEN Prawns, all other dishes are edible and normal.

On the whole, the dishes are mostly tasty and flavourful, not too bland and not too salty either. It's like comfort home-cooked food. The fried items are yummy too. Occasionally there would be one dish that doesn't taste very fresh, such as prawns or leafy vegetables, but it's not frequent.

Delivery tends to be in the afternoon around 3pm or 4pm, which is a tad early, but I guess still reasonable if we eat at 6pm and heat up the food again.

Recently, amid the Malaysia chicken shortage, it seems there has been an increase in dishes with very bony chicken parts that are not nice because there tends to be little meat and too much fats/skin/bones. Hopefully such dishes can be reduced when the shortage ends.

The food taste is okay. I ordered 4 pax, but sometimes the food amount is not enough for my family. According to the price, the amount is acceptable.

Not sure why are there so many good reviews.

We ordered the 5 days dinner trial. 1 out of 3 sides (usually veggies) have turned sour on 4 out of 5 days. Especially on the 1st day, the spinach we got was yellowish in appearance. Throughout the 5 days trial, we received the food on time and consumed them within an hour.

We texted the caterer after the second day to complain and was given the reply that they would inform their kitchen. However, the dishes we received after that were still sour. We did not further contact them as we tried to keep our faith till the last order. We hoped that as it cross to another week for the 4th and final day, things would turn better.

It did not.

Turns out both my spouse and I started having weak bowels / diarrhea eventually.

Not returning.

Not recommended. Sometimes both meal same dishes. Send meal too early. 8 plus in the morning and 2plus in the afternoon. Food tastes terrible. Will never order again.

The food is good and arrived just at the dinner time. The menu changed often and would like to try again.

Repeated order.
The food taste OK for us, not salty, no oily, no much fried stuff, no much processed food.
Soupmay need improvement. Sometimes only half of the container.

One of the cheaper caterers, value for money. Daily food variety is acceptable with a mixture of chicken, pork, seafood and fish dishes. Ordered 20 days to get more value for money

This is the first time i order Tingkat from Hewtop Catering, everything turn up just nice for me.
The food portion is good and value for money.
I enjoy eating their Cereal Prawn and chicken with Sesame Oil.
