Food's alright, more misses than hits over the 5 day trial. Portions are also quite small. Soups are pretty good though. Service can definitely be much better - no one called to confirm the order despite me ordering well in advance (a week at least) and I had to call the day before the tingkat is to start to have the staff member tell me they can only confirm that afternoon once they have sorted out the delivery schedule. They did eventually confirm the order but what if the delivery schedule was full? It would have left me high and dry, without any backup plan!

Food was too oily & salty for us. Quality of food is average and not so healthy. On Day 2, we were given 4 eggs as one of the dishes. On another day, we found an insect in the vegetables. Delivery is around 10.30 am which is too early for lunch.

I have sent many messages to the person in charge to their whatapps not to leave the food deliveries on the floor, especially during this covid period. But they just won't listen.

Also, most of the time, the meat items got a weird smell or taste. It was a horrible first time experience with them. First and Last with them.

Dinner was delivered ridiculously early at 2.30-3pm daily, even before the official delivery time.

Food is rather tasty but given the early preparation of food (before delivery time), I really wonder if it’s safe to consume by 7pm. Note: family has working adults that will only be home by 7pm.

Maybe it's the current COVID-19 situation and manpower crunch, but I found the food is below average across the trial period. Delivery also can be quite late and past the suggested consumption time! I've selected this based on the reviews, but got disappointed. Hopefully they can improve in the future and match the claims of the past reviews.

First try of the tingkat. The food never come. Called at 7pm 730pm then at 745pm no one picks up. Called the next day and still dare to say that the driver delivered where I never received anything. My 2 kids was so hungry.. irresponsible tingkat supplier. Then request for refund. They still dare to say got to wait till mid may cos need big boss approval and they cant go meet big boss often due to circuit breaker.. I shall see if I ever get my refund.

1. Photos are deceiving
2. Never had so much repeated veg dishes in any tingkat service I've ordered before (same veg x8 times in 20days)
3. Most dishes are just way too bland or doesn't taste good (even for a non picky eater), eg: potato came soggy or uncooked. Too many repeated dishes in 20 days... Often no meat included, fish came but it isn't fresh.
4. Even soup taste bad, I mean, how could one ruin soup?
5. Dinner tingkat came at 3pm which is way too early for any dinner time
6. All other caterers I've ordered from will send me their latest menu automatically. This company doesn't, even when I asked for it, management can see my msg but chose not to reply. Very bad service.
7. I always look forward to tingkat daily but Hewtop is the only catering I hope to end asap. DO NOT ORDER.

Poor service poor food in overall poor experience with them.
got my order wrong. no seafood become gt seafood. no ginger become gt ginger :(

The servings are good. The soup is tasteless and the food options are rather uncreative. Mostly fish cakes.
