Economical and Good! Reviewed on 20th Jul 2020 Verified Purchase We started ordering towards the end of CB as we wanted an eco-friendly option, rather than ordering in with plastic containers. We extended it for one more run as we found it more economical and there's better variety than if we cook ourself, and ... More saves time too. The quality during those few weeks wasn't as good. Some ingredients repeated from one day to next, and lots of adaptation from menu, but we can understand the limitations. Maybe out of 4 dishes, we'd like 2 then. It was hot or miss. This run we sometimes like 3 or all dishes.But not a fan of the Kway Chup sort dishes. Which we had a lot of in one week. The food can be quite heavy on sauce and salt. May want to go easy there. But after CB better flavoured as during then, it was more bland and less colour we felt. But still good. And we understand CB period difficult to obtain ingredients and overwhelming orders. The portions are huge. (Most pictures taken after my husband takes his portion.) Enough for us to feed my toddler, and have some for me to eat leftovers for lunch. The veges are always the most (and sadly my husband doesn't eat much of that, so I have to suffer as too much of a good thing, can also be bad.) We forego rice now to have more space for food. We chose not to have soup, so 4th dish is usually some finger friendly fried food, which satisfies my toddler. The veges go bad quickly so we try to finish them within the night. They also usually have black spores on them like for Chinese spinach, but we've had no issues with those. We also opted no bones fish and we had that twice, and one of the days, I spent additional half hour removing bones. But it was delicious, so didn't complain. They often deliver at about 5pm but recently began delivery very early, like 2.30pm today. Luckily we're at home as won't like it being outside door, so many hours. Very good customer service, the few times I called. Prompt and friendly. Met delivery uncle only once, very well dressed gentleman. This was the 3rd delivery caterer we contacted as many don't service our block, though they're just across road. Strangely. Their menu is exactly the same as another caterer, so most probably operate out of a central kitchen, but the other tingkat's pricing was slightly higher and reviews not as good. So we're glad we managed to contract them. Happy to continue but may look at other options now that CB is over.
