The food was fantastic great, my guest like the food alot.the dessert walnut brownies also very nice.

Caterer was able to accommodate my late request to set up the table according to my colour scheme. All the dishes looked and tasted delicious and the portions were just right. The delivery man was very polite and professional too. Will book this caterer again for future events.

The food was mostly delicious - but 2 of the dishes were not as well-liked (1) Prawn Paste Chicken (i think the batter was not crispy enough), (2) Skillet Corn Medley (a lot of leftovers)

The food was very good and portion was quite decent. The prawns are very big which was the best seller and first to finish.

✨ Highlights & Standout Dishes
The overall spread was neatly presented and sufficient for our group of 15. Three items stood out as clear favourites:

• Red Velvet Cream Cheese Cake: Perfectly balanced sweetness, moist sponge, and rich, creamy frosting – every guest enjoyed this dessert.

• Mackerel Otah: Full of fragrant spices and fresh mackerel, with a firm yet tender texture; easily one of the most popular items on the table.

• Prawns in Chilli Crab Sauce: Plump, juicy prawns coated in a savoury, tangy sauce that had just the right amount of heat – the sauce was so good many guests asked for extra!

📝 Areas for Improvement
• Curry Chicken: We appreciated the generous portion size (delivered in 2 separate tubs) and the abundance of tender chicken pieces. However, the curry sauce was quite thin and lacked depth of flavour – adding more spices, coconut milk, or simmering it longer to thicken would make this dish excellent.

• Cereal Fish: This dish was the least popular; several guests found the fish too dry and the cereal coating lacking the usual buttery, fragrant taste.

• Fried Rice with Chicken Ham & Whitebait: The rice was tasty but noticeably dry; a little more oil or moisture would make it fluffier and more enjoyable.

📦 Service & Value
Delivery arrived punctually at 6:30 PM as scheduled, and the complimentary cutlery and hand wipes were convenient. Pricing is reasonable for the portion size, and we appreciated the healthier preparation notes (no MSG, no artificial colouring).

Rating: 4/5
The standout dishes more than made up for the minor shortcomings, and we would happily order from Katong Catering again – with just a few tweaks to the sauce and rice, this would be a perfect buffet set!

On the whole it was ok. Food taste and portions were ok. It would be great if they were even better. But no complaints.

Food was good and portion was enough. Slight hiccup in the delivery but it was rectified. Overall it was good.

Collection was fast. Appreciate the light touch of Mother's Day gift. Food tasted excellent and great serving size

Good food and great price. Will order again, the catering didn’t give plastic bag for trash bag so need to went and find on my own
