Sauteed Scallop in XO Sauce - ok
Baked Teriyaki Cod Fish Fillet - ok
Homemade Ngoh Hiang with Sweet Sauce - quite nice
Braised Eefu Noodles with Golden Mushroom - nice
Scrumptious Fried Rice with Turkey Ham - ok but did not notice the ham
Homemade Yam Paste with Gingko Nuts - nice
Braised Duck with Sea Cucumber - nice but sort of expensive
Chicken Satay (12 pieces) - ok

All the food delivered are cold, fried rice is tasteless, yam paste coconut milk doesnt taste fresh. Very disappointed with the food for cny reunion. Alot of room to improve

The food were cold when I received it. There were only 4 pieces of smoked salmon given for each yu sheng.

The food is delicious and value for money. Delivery came early too! Definitely will recommend this caterer to others.

We have with Makan Mate for a several months, the choice of cooking are great and the varieties are great.

Overallvery satisfied with the order. Prompt response, on time delivery, friendly delivery staff. Most important food is delicous and value for money.

Food was decent. Ate every dish - while it seems like a logical statement, a couple of tingkat caterers have 1/2 dishes that are just inedible (e.g. veggies w strong pesticide taste).

One of the 4 dishes will be something that is somewhat cheap though (e.g. fried finger food).

We will be signing up a new contract with Makan Mate again on 15Jan21, we missed their food after stopped for a week, we need to wait for our existing contract ends then we will continue with Makan Mate again.

Generally the food were alright, they were still warm when received.
Delivery timing was pretty timely, around 5-6pm.
There were some hits and misses in terms of the food. Variety was alright.

I'm a spicy lover, so i was pretty disappointed with the Asam Fish, which was literally tasteless (and no spicy). And it's a tad too oily.

The surprise was the Asam Laksa, but what i couldn't understand was sardines were used, but anyway, it did not disrupt the taste.

I'm particular about soups, and they were good!
