Makan Mate

It's my first time ordering from Makan Mate & the overall experience from delivery to food is good. The office coordination was efficient - they called to confirm if our event will continue, in view of COVID-19 when I forgot to confirm it with them. Delivery was prompt & setup was a breeze. Delivery staff is also professional & friendly. In general, all the guests enjoyed the food & some even asked for the caterer's contact. Kudos to Makan Mate.

Nice food overall, not too salty n not too oily, though portion, i felt could be improved. Will order again if there is a chance.

Quantity for all food items kinda small. Doesnt look like it is for 8-10 pax portions

Although it's during CNY period, the quality of the food did not detoriate and they delivered the food on time. So thumbs up for Makan Mate

The staff was very accommodating and polite. Food was also good. The noodle dish was completely cleared by our guests. The Yu Sheng also had a very generous portion of smoked salmon.

Will definitely consider ordering from them again.

The grilled chicken was v tender n juicy. Cod fish was also nicely seasoned.portion was just nice. Service was great via email, delivery was prompt n timely. Everything was smooth. Food was good as we liked it low in salt n oil n no msg. Thumbs up

Grilled Oriental Emperor Chicken was ok, the Crispy Stuffed Dough Fritters have very little fillings you can only taste the dough.

I asked for less salt on my food but I did not expect the Eefu Noodles to be so blend after they cut down on salt.

Also no one wants to have the longan desert as it is absolutely unappealing at all. Broccoli also a bit too tough.

Staff who delivered the food do not know how to setup the buffet so food were left at my house untouched for nearly an hour which I feared that it may turn bad.

Overall food quality and the service were acceptable. The caterer came earlier than expected. Set up was good. Generally satisfied with the catering.

Delivery arrived on time with helpful and friendly staff. Food tasted good but some dishes seem too little for 25 pax.
Overall, still a good choice!
