Makan Mate

In general, the food is good, but the portion is too small for 30 people, even though we only have 30. Food is only enough for 25 people. Actually, we ordered nasi lemak, but it comes with yellow rice.

The food is good for this caterer. Especially the olive fried brown rice with nuts. It is cook very tasty and nice. My colleagues all say very nice. The rest of the food is reasonably good too.

Delivery on time. My event is on Sunday, they do not have office to confirm my order, but food still arrived on time.

The food was nice but sadly the portion for most of the dishes was not good enough for 25pax so only the bee hoon and rice was left over with no side dish to go along with. It would have been perfect if the portion was enough.

Food was decent for the price. Quantity was more than sufficient. Service from Chris, who set up the buffet, was excellent. Friendly and efficient. The admin, however, was not too responsive. Took 3 separate calls to get an invoice and never got back to me regarding chair rentals. Overall, I will still recommend them to others.

The food was of great quality, with the yusheng, the cod and the prawns being standout dishes. The freshness of the cod and the prawns was maintained and we were pleasantly surprised that the food was not overly salty and was balanced in flavour. A great meal.

However, the food quality is below average.

I have high hopes when i ordered. But to my surprise when the food came. i thought the food was delivered to a wrong address. The portions are obviously not meant for a 25 pax portion. It served barely enough for 15 pax at most. Embaraased by insufficient food to serve my guests, We have to order pizzas for the rest of my 10 guests. To top such bad experience, the quality is really bad. Prawns were not fresh and mushy, and the rest are just okay. Only the fish is worth mentioning.

The Golden Cod Fish Fillet with Thai Chili Sauce was the best dish. However the Cereal Prawns was not fresh and the Grilled Chicken Leg was too salty. The are Fu Noodles were dry, should have more sauce.
