Shi Fu Ge

Portions are small for most dishes so if your party is all adults, advisable to order more than your headcount. Crabs are small n not fleshy. Prawn dish is tasteless. Caterer missed out the dessert and when we called to check, they claimed that the kitchen has run out of it. No alternative is available as they have depleted all their desserts. Explanation is weak as it's a pre-order of at least 3-5 days. Service recovery is poor. Caterer offered 10 percent discount for next purchase but we are not keen. Said that they will look into this and contact us again but no call after more than a month. Disappointed and will not order from them again.

Salted Egg Crab , Salted Egg Prawn , Black Pepper Crab , Honey Milk Pork is the best food . Customers could try for shi fu ge the food is hot and very nice .

Our 2nd time ordering from SFG. The last time we tried the $8.90 buffet. This is for a mummies and kids gathering so we always had alot of leftovers (so can't really comment if the food servings are enough for pure adults). Most kids are generally fussy eaters so it's not easy to find a caterer whose food is well-liked by kids. So SFG's food is considered not bad because some kids actually took a few more servings, especially the fish fillets and Bee Hoon. (My own daughter took 4 servings of the fish fillets though she doesn't like fish very much)
But the sweet & sour pork was a little less palatable compared to the pork chop we ordered previously.

Only disappointment is that no napkins were given this time round.

The food serving in general is quite sufficient for the number of pax ordered.

All in all Quite ok based on the price paid and taste for the dishes are not bad except for the following which can be improved:
1) pork rib King - very tough although tasty. Didn use any meat tenderizer.

2) 'Cai Poh' bean curd - was not bad too, but a pity no gravy in the dish. Was mislead by other client's picture that it was a wet dish, but it turned out dry.

3) Mini chocolate eclair n vanilla cream puff mix - turn out to be mini fried doughnut puff with either vanilla or chocolate filling; so-so.

Overall food was quite good. However, too many items were fried.

By far the most unaccommodating caterer! Food is on the salty side, the pork rib has came without sauce, lemon fish was hard. Deliveryman was polite and helpful though.

Portion is good for 20 pax. However pineapple is too oily n not well cook. A little bit hard

In view of heavy rain. The delivery was late for about 40 mins. However the food is still warm. I read the review and the review say the Cai Poh Beancurd is one of the best dish. However when I ordered the Beancurd look very "dry". Even with the gravy and Cai Poh, the taste is just so so. This is just one disapointment. The rest of the food are good. :).
