WORD. Events and Catering

Firstly, the caterer only send an email informing us to transfer the money so that they can confirm the orders. I was expecting a call instead of just an email as emails can be overlooked.
After transferring the money, there was no news on whether the order was confirmed. The food was late by more than 1.5 hours and we got conflicting information. At 430pm, we got a call to say that we will get the food by 530pm. After 530pm, I have no news, so I called the caterer and was informed the driver will call me. The driver says they will reach in 15-20mins but it was only much later than I got the food. not sure where it went wrong, but our plan to have an early dinner was destroyed.
the food was not fantastic to be honest but well, edible. the salmon yu sheng was not up to expectation for the price of it.

Ok, food is good and economical.

Overall presentation is good. Food OK. Dessert disappointed as item spoilt. Service not bad as they get the dessert replace. Timing bad as they send to the wrong place at first.

Authentic Muslim food with sufficient spread for event.

I like the taste of almost every dish but the quantity is a little than 30 pax.

The set up & delivery was late by an hour. Called the caterer twice. During the first call, I was informed that my number would be given to the driver to contact me and to provide his ETA but the driver did not contact me. Called a 2nd time and they informed that the driver is otw and to give them another 10-15 mins but eventually arrived after half an hr after the 2nd call.

No garbage bag and serviette provided. Price tag was not removed from the scoop (unhygienic).

Collection was late by more than 2 hours till we have to leave the items outside as we have to go for other CNY visiting.

No invoice provided and caterer asked to paynow them since the collection would only be done when our family was out for visiting thus couldn’t pay by cash. However, no screenshot/receipt was provided to us as promised.

Bad experience- Delivery came 30mins after my event timing, short delivered of brownie, some of dishes we ordered were swapped without informing us - Fried noodle instead of braised Ee fu noodle, broccoli instead of loh han vegetable, sautéed king prawn become fried prawn. Food were very dry and broccoli quite salty, brownie become cakes and cookies. They don’t provide trash bag and serviettes too.

Ordered 2 party sets, Noodle Party Set & Konichiwa Jap Party Set. Noodle Party Set mentioned Spring Roll but came Ngoh Hiang. Both sets deserts were tasteless & were the same except for the coloring, . No Chin Chow with Longan as in the menu. Anyway food not that bad. Will consider to order again but will try other party sets.

Food portion and presentation was good, but delivery was really very late for my order, by 2 hours and after many call chasers. It would have helped if they called me to inform me that they were late instead of having to call them to check on delivery status. And the dessert was not sent in the first delivery so we had to wait for another hour for it. Else, ordering and confirmation of order was a breeze. Food tasted fine as well and was value for money.
