More were generally NOT too salty or oily. Just nice. The meat of rendang chicken did NOT taste nice and it was hard. The rendang sauce was nice but a bit too salty. In one of the online reviews we saw, the person stated that the Mongolian Fish Fillet was not Dory Fish. That was why we ordered this dish. However, ours was Dory Fish - mashy, too soft and too sweet. Some of the fried rice was in lumps. Quite a lot of them. Not thoroughly stirred and cooked. The Fried Rice does not have much taste either. Service was good. Delivery of food was prompt. Set-up was good. The artificial flower arrangement looked fresh, clean and real and lovely. Andy Wong, Xiang's Catering staff who delivered and set up the food was cheerful and friendly. He was fast and neat with his work. Collections of trays, etc after the event was also very prompt. Xiang Catering should provide name labels for each dish so that guests know what dishes they are eating. This is what other caterers would do. Since there are 2 queues (guests facing opposite each other to take the food), there should be 2 sets of name labels for each desh. In the end, we had to print our own labels in English & Chinese to display below the trays.
