Patisserie Glace’s Strawberry Soufflé looks stunning, like something straight out of a dessert magazine. But sadly, it’s more style than substance. The vanilla sponge inside was unexpectedly hard and dry — quite a letdown. Only the cheesecake ... More layer was enjoyable, smooth and creamy. Service was meh; the stall owner mistook me for a delivery rider even after I said I came to collect the cake. That said, he was agreeable when I asked for extra candles. The location is quite out of the way too, so not worth the journey unless you're already nearby or really craving pretty cakes.
