"Taste of the food was quite ok, but service to be improved"

While the taste of the food was generally quite ok & well received and the disposable cutlery were just enough, there were a number of lapses in the services that fell below expectation.

Arrival and Setup
The arrival time was grossly late for ... More about 50 mins to nearly an hour, and by the time the set up was done, it was already around 25 mins past indicated event timing; claimed to be due to traffic jam.
There was no Halal Certificate displayed; some of the guests had to ask and check whether the food is Halal.
One of the tables set up was clearly slated/unbalanced, as a result, the food trays set up on the table were also clearly slated/unbalanced. While the staff assured that it was safe and the food will not topple over, it is potentially a hazard.

Food & Serving Utensils
Fried Cauliflower w Black Fungus & Shrimp: There was no shrimp in the Fried Cauliflower w Black Fungus & Shrimp dish, which is different from what is indicated & shown in the photo in the Foodline listing.
Steamed Mini Soon Kueh w Sweet Sauce: There was no sweet sauce given at all.
The food portions for the dishes were quite small too; some of the dishes had finished before all the attendees had taken the food.
The serving utensils were not totally appropriate though; it was challenging to serve the vegetables with gravy with tongs.

Collection and Clearing Up
The collection & clearing up was about 30 mins later than what was agreed.
As there was still a meeting going on in one of the rooms, I have requested for the staff to try to minimize the noise level, however the request was clearly not heeded/ignored; the staff continued to be quite rough with the food trays, causing a lot of noises.
Furthermore, the staff was careless in the clearing up & pouring away of the leftover food, resulting in spillages of the gravy on the floor; the floor had just been cleaned up & mopped after the event ended, however the floor was dirtied by the staff's careless & irresponsible actions.
Even though the other staff offered to wipe away the spillage briefly with tissue, the floor was still dirty and required another round of cleaning to clean away the grease.

Caterer apologized and offered a voucher as a token of apology after I emailed to give feedback & complain about the catering.
